ive maintained about a year and a half. counting calories and working out. I think it depends on where you are when maintenance begins. if your lifting regularly then stop but continue counting, you will lose muscle mass. so I think it just depends on goals, but for maintaining weight I think counting only would work for…

I don't eat my exercise calories back... it your trying to lose then keep the calories low. imo

2,000+ seems like a lot for you.... what were you calories at before? what kind of workouts are you doing? also, if you substitute or add some dense foods it may help with hunger. How much broccoli, egg whites, grilled chicken etc can you really eat. After I eat 3-5 egg whites I generally don't want to eat anymore lol so…

no ones perfect! especially not me! :) who wants perfection anyways. its great to have a goal and have accountability, but it's also important to just let go once in a while and indulge.. imho

this here, because my cheat days can turn into 2-4000 calories of crap lol. I really try to make it a cheat meal/dinner or whatever. You don't want to undo the work you've done through the week.

most places lettuce wrap items now, so do that. get grilled chicken, no cheese take of the mayo off and or get something that isn't fried. that's about the best you can do... well the best I can do lol lots of places have fruit items for kids apple slices etc.

muscle weighs more then fat as it is more dense. Therefor it is possible to lose fat, gain muscle, lose inches, all while remaining near the same weight. (that's why you can lose inches)

its not really gaining muscle parse... It is turning fat into muscle and losing fat in the process. I ate at a deficit and lost 50 lbs while sustaining muscle mass. same here, like all schedules your body will need to adapt. You can also have something light like a banana or apple preworkout etc

why are people so angry... lol yeah just don't let it get out of control. they say a cheat meal is ideal - once a week. cheat meals/days are great, but if they begin to slow your progress, then you know your overdoing it.

it will likely work just take longer/require a little more time in the gym. Also depends on what your filling those extra 300 calories with... ie fat/protein etc. good luck! :)
