Ive been doing pretty well lately cutting out chocolate and chips. instead i munch on pumpklin or sunflower seeds which are loaded with salt, but i still think the switch off was beneficial.

I also don't drink alcohol. I might have 1 or 2 cocktails a couple times a year, but i hate the feeling of "drunk" so i stay away. I unfortunately drink diet coke like its going out of style though. and I prefer my stinky green to alcohol and the munchies are intense lol. I just cant get ahead.

cheesecake(i like my cake without cheese :P) and pies/muffins or anything cooked or baked containing fruit, it grosses me out. i like my fruit raw or not at all.

sometimes i can find fat free cottage cheese and its a great way to get a lot of protein with few calories. and ive said the same thing in a bunch of threads today but faux meats are very high in protein and low in calories, though some are DEFINITELY better tasting than others.

ive been using crystal light and its helped me SO much. and i vote aainst ice cold water. its easier for me to down a big glass at once then sip on it over a length of time and ice cold water hurts my sensitive teeth and gives brain freezes.

what about fruit? some of my favs are pineapple, white/green grapes, or kiwi. I dont always eat them but when i do im like "why dont i eat this everyday? its like candy!". you could also try berries or grapefruit with a zero calorie artificial sweetener on them.

oh, and go make a ticker! 12 lbs doesn't seem like much at all when i think about how much i weigh in total. but when i see those stars on my ticker i realize it is a very good step towards me making it out of the 200s! the visual really makes me proud!

I have no idea, but I will tell you this. I drink a LOT of it, and switching to diet coke instead of regular a few months back didn't make any difference on the scale for me. My sister said she lost 30lbs in a year when she switched but it didn't work for me. I don't cringe about doing my food journal now though lol.
