How the heck do I prevent them? They're ruining my workouts

MFP can't math good.
So I was just looking at my diary and realized that my numbers don't add up. My fats add up to 14g, but MFP has added it up to 13g. My protein adds up to 92g but MFP has it added up to 94g. My carbs equal 58g but its added up to 57g. Anyone elses diary fail math class?

Sodium
I understand that sodium makes you retain water, but does it actually sabbotage weightloss? In theory if I eat high sodium consistently for 3 months and then get my act together and let go of all that water weight, will my "true weight" be pretty much the same as if I had consumed much less sodium throughout the 3 months?

why does everyone talk about eating X amount of small meals per day? I have a 1200/day calorie allowance.
