I understand that sodium makes you retain water, but does it actually sabbotage weightloss? In theory if I eat high sodium consistently for 3 months and then get my act together and let go of all that water weight, will my "true weight" be pretty much the same as if I had consumed much less sodium throughout the 3 months?

Does not have anything to do with weight loss.
Often high sodium foods are processed foods and fast food, and these can cause weight gain.0
