Lifting weights while you're doing cardio and eating properly is what every toned guy is doing. Lifting weights will define your muscles, while cardio and good nutrition will take off the fat, and your wonderful body will be waiting underneath.

I have to agree that you feel a lot better when you watch what you eat. My metabolism is still raging so I can pretty much eat whatever I want, but that doesn't do it for me anymore. Good luck with all your goals!
