I'd be looking at running a marathon for those numbers.

omg yes! I call that sternum thing 'the button', if I depress it hard enough I'm sure I'll transform into a lorry.

woahh I came in here to mention the collar bone thing! I thought I was the only one who did the collar bone thing but the collar bone thing seems to be a thing. Honestly, running your fingers over its contours is some of the best entertainment weight loss has to offer.

This person has earned 2,788 calories logging their exercise (must have been something quite intense). Calories In:1,977 Calories Out: 2,788 + Daily allowance of 1,423 = 4,211 4,211 - 1,977 = 2,234

London, shout out to the NW suburbs! lost 57lbs since May 10th. 6lbs away from the illusive green zone on the BMI.

Open to anyone, on 1,640, it's pretty boring though as I eat the same things pretty much every day.

I would agree that walking calories are HUGELY overestimated, not just on MFP. Read this, I use the formula in here: http://www.runnersworld.com/peak-performance/running-v-walking-how-many-calories-will-you-burn Online calculators are basically doubling the true number. When you hear people say 'eat back 50%' that's really…

yeah it's all a bit weird really.

There was another (?) user who got banned about 3 months ago or so - same MO: trying to help gf/ starts lashing out - does that sound familiar?
-
LOOOL it's the same in the Withings world but they're classed as unrecognised readings and as a consequence I know exactly how much my cleaner weighs!
-
wow! thanks for the tip on Trend Weight - just registered my Withings scale on there and am loving the stats. So much better than the native Withings graphs.

Hey! don't be so hard on yourself, you're on the MFP forums so have recognised the issue and are conscious of it! You're in a very, very small % of people who've done this. I too had the moment of epiphany when I saw some pics of myself, I just cringed and was so embarrassed. I started using MFP before I went on my 'diet'…

WHAT THE ACTUAL ****! is this some kind of record </Leslie Nielsen> Are they the same people?

Can OP update us on this, it's more gripping than TV.
-
yes, starting weight is your current weight, t's just using the same formula but based on your current weight as you burn more calories, even at rest, when you're heavier and vice-versa.
-
You lose your 'laptop shelf', it used to rest really nicely on my huge stomach now it falls into a deep void and I have to use a pillow :(
-
Have you re-calculated your goals? I was originally on 1,750/day and after losing about 30lbs I recalculated and it dropped to 1,500.

I've got MFP Premium and 'Calories by meal' is one of the features but I never use it. Really don't see the point as long as I've eaten them all by the time I'm asleep.

wow, that blows my figures out of the water, 60lbs in 11 weeks is a huge accomplishment, that is very fast. I hope you find, as I do, that it becomes second nature; counting, logging, moving around is the new normal! Amazing progress.

This is pretty much exactly what I do, except I'm 35% daily protein - it's probably 4g of carbs per serving (not all of that is sugar). I favour Reflex Nutrition Instant Whey PRO, vanilla ice cream flavour, really nice with almond milk and quite horrible with water. Makes hitting the protein macro so much easier.

THIS! I used to sleep with the window open and hated having the heating on now I'm like 'Why isn't everyone else wearing a coat!" - Taking us so much less space on public transport and people now taking the seat next to me when I used to have it all to myself - buying clothes that I like not just whatever they have in my…

110lbs! that is mind boggling - you must get the most amazing comments! and you look like Annette Bening! It's all going on for you!
-
that's such a shame - are there any other foods that secretly contain banana... extract(?!) that you have to be wary of. Is it in any additives (what we call E numbers in the UK)?
