I really feel like I can identify with this girl. I've cut right back on my social life in the past year in order to focus on improving my health and wellbeing. It's a sacrafice I've made in order to hopefully life a longer, happier, healthier life and boy was it worth it. Now that I'm nearing my goal, I'm starting to go…

Your wife's transformation is just astounding. I love how in the progression pictures, her face looks happier in each one as she gets slimmer and healthier. She looks so much younger now since she has lost the weight. I think it's lovely that you are so proud and supportive of your wife and well done on taking her for that…

I always thank people who pay me a compliment about my weight loss. The comment I find difficult to respond to is the one I get most frequently which is "you're fading away". Thank you doesn't feel like the best response to this because, while it is probably intended as a compliment, the statement itself isn't really a…

I think you have to add them real time. You could log a fake say of eating (like yesterday) and add all your faves so they save in your recent foods. Best of luck. mfp is great. Stick with it :flowerforyou:

Thats fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Great thread. 1. Lost 1/3 of my body weight 2. Ran a 10k race without walking 3. Dropped 5 dress sizes 4. Squatted 75% of my body weight 5. Bought clothes in normal shops and not even in the biggest size they had 6 Took control of my life and stopped waking up miserable every morning about my weight 7. Was described as…

Oh my goodness, you look AMAZING! I love how happy you look in the 'after' pictures. HUGE congratulations. I'm in awe!

My NSV today was buying a blouse in a size 14 (UK). I did buy this blouse before in a size 16 but it was too small so I returned it. The size 14 fits perfectly :-) Also, the scale hasn't been moving much lately but I tried on a skirt I only bought a month or so ago and it's far too big! So, the scales aren't the be all and…

Congratulations! What a fantastic transformation and an inspiration to all of us on the same journey. You look so happy.

and so you should be - amazing transformation :-)

well done! You look like a completely different person. Surely people don't recognise you?

I don't have set intervals but I've saw things I liked and throught to myself - you know what, I deserve it. Some of the things I've bought myself are things the old me couldn't have had eg branded sports gear, dresses from stores that don't sell bigger sizes etc. Like many people are saying, so long as you don't reward…

It's like I wrote this myself. Even now it is physically obvious to people I've been dieting, I hate talking about it. Except on mfp of course

Well done. Keep the belt as a reminder of what you don't want to go back to. I can get my old belt around me AND my husband now

resizing rings can be quite expensive so I've been getting my engagement ring re-sized (down 6 sizes now) and using it to hold my wedding ring on. I'll get that done at the end.

Riding my bicycle as fast as I can. I love it, regardless of the weather!

ALL the time. Don't sweat it. Sometimes when it's really cold in the mornings my scales are out of wack and sometimes I just fluctuate. this week for instance I've worked my butt off, ate really well but gained a lb. Possibly water, possibly muscle. The thing is that I've had ups and downs all year and still lost a ton of…

So it's not just me? I can see the changes when I look in the mirror but everytime I look in the mirror it's a surprise as I expect to see the old me looking back at me. I still walk into shops and think the staff must be thinking that I don't belong in there. Then I have to put back items and get a smaller size and I'm…

Good job - keep it up!

7.5lbs down. I'm going to have to work very hard in the gym for the next few days. Still, better 7.5lbs down than up.:flowerforyou:

that's fantastic. Well done!

Congratulations to both you and your wife. Great job! I'm so relieved we don't have to put our weight on our drivers licenses in the UK :blushing:
-
soooooo cool. well done :-)

Happens all the time unfortunately but I try not to get too down about it as usually it is followed by a really good weightloss a bit later. It all catches up in the end. It's very hard not to be too focussed on the scales (says me who weighs myself every morning) but if you are feeling the difference and eating well then…

What an amazing transformation. You look fantastic. Congratulations!

Well done! That's a phenomenal loss in such a short time. I've lost the same but it has taken me double the time. I know what you mean about it not sinking in. I'm starting to think that losing a lot of weight after being so big for such a long time is a total head ****! I still think of myself as being much bigger than I…

random I know, but I LOVE your running shoes!
