I'm on day 1 today. This is my second Whole 30. Did it last year but only managed 21 days. I shouldn't have quit as I felt fantastic but the sugar dragon got to me. Good luck to you all.

squats and lunges (especially walking lunges) might be something you can do at home to strengthen your legs and give you more power. Also high knees jogging on the spot. i find these tough but they are recommended for runners. Good luck :-)

I had the same problem so got it all cut off - it was half way down my back and now it's pretty short. Makes life so much easier at the gym every day and I've stopped using "But i don't want to/have time to wash my hair!" as an excuse not to work out. I got a lot of mileage out of that excuse in the past. It's pretty scary…

I ordered a Polar FT4 today and am collecting it tonight. I hadn't realised that it couldn't be used for lifting/pilates etc. Why's that? I have about 20lbs left to lose and I've got it into my head that smaller targets need more precise calorie management so I want to be really sure when I'm eating back exercise calories…

I've found that I'm so much more conscious of how I am feeling, whether that be tired, full of energy, blue, happy etc. That definitely wasn't one I was expecting. My life is less stressful - I hadn't realised how stressful being overweight was. I used to constantly worry about going to new places - would the chairs be…

What a fantastic idea!

Porridge Oats Milk Costa Coffee - Americano Grilled chicken breast All sounds very virtuous and then I get to number 5 which is almond biscotti. Hmmm, maybe now I know why I'm not losing much weight these days :blushing:

Absolutely NOTHING sucks about losing weight. It's the best thing i ever did! However, having said that ( ) I now have a chest like a teenage boy and it really isn't comfortable to sit on hard chairs. I've lost my cushion. I haven't noticed the cold though - perhaps that just means I've still got plenty to lose…

I wouldn't worry about turning into a big muscle man. I've been using Maxitone which you can get in Boots. They do about 500g for £30. It's a lot of money but each portion is just 30grams so it will last a while. Maxitone do a meal replacement or a protein shake but it is clear from the label which is which. From what I…

I fall off the wagon and get back on the wagon over and over again and look at my little ticker thingy below, I've still, somehow managed to lose weight. I think the reason is that instead of falling off and not getting back on, I just somehow drag myself back on. Give yourself a talking to. Look at the success stories on…

I never take my make-up off before going to the gym as I'm usually there straight after work and rushing to beat traffic etc to get to a spin class on time. I only wear eye make up and that pretty much stays put no matter how horrendously sweaty I get. I might re-think if I ever wore pressed powder or something like that.…
