I’m a little late jumping on the bandwagon, but: Actual start weight: 201.4 lb August Start Weight: 200.2 lb August Goal Weight: 195.2 lb Ultimate Goal Weight: 170-ish August 1: 200.2 lb August 4: 199.0 lb August 11: 198.9 lb August 18: 198.8 lb August 25: August 31: It’s going painfully slow, but it’s going, anyways.

I've had a pretty good couple of weeks. I've been managing to get to my fitness class every day and get through it without feeling like I want to die afterwards. I also haven't been craving sugar, which is just weird for me. However, I started T last week and immediately gained five pounds (I'm thinking water weight).
-
@purplesccy congratulations on hitting 50! This past week has been a pretty good one. Logging again has forced me to eat a little bit healthier than I have been over the last month and I'm feeling pretty good about it. I've also managed to increase my weight for bicep curls this last week, so that's always nice.

I haven't checked in for a while, but it's nice to see that this thread seems to have come back to life. I am continuing my on again off again pattern on MFP. I just finished a big project at work and have a dr appointment in a couple of weeks about starting T, so I'm feeling pretty motivated right now.

I have a big problem with anxiety caused by some other neurological issues. I'm not taking any medication for it, though I probably should be. I've found that really hard strength-training sessions do help it to some extent. I've also found that I can't have ANY caffeine.
-
I also hope for you that it is related to the surgery itself. I remember mine was pretty tender for the first week or so and straightening it felt like it was going to rip apart. I wish you a speedy recovery!
-
Erm... It was so long ago that I don't really remember, to be honest. I only remember that I couldn't fully straighten my leg before. Now the pain is on the outside of my knee. I also occasionally get shooting pains from my knee down to my ankle, but that is definitely an entrapped nerve from a different injury.
-
I had knee arthroscopy a few years ago because my doctor suspected I had a meniscus tear, and also just had scar tissue removed. The first couple of weeks it was pretty stiff/sore, but I really only needed to use crutches for the first day (I still used one crutch for a couple of days, just for balance purposes). I didn't…

This sounds like a fantastic idea. I'm all for joining, though I currently have an injured foot so I may have to take it a bit easy the first couple weeks.
-
I haven't checked in for a little while, but I figure that logging every couple of days is still probably better than not logging. I tried my hand (er... foot?) at running the other day and it felt really good at the time, but the next day or so my foot got really sore to where I could barely put any weight on it. It's…

It's been a little while since I've checked in... I've sort of given up on trying to reach my calorie goals because I will do great for a few days, and then there will be that one day where I stayed at work too late and just really want to stop and but a frozen pizza on the way home. I'm still trying to keep track though.…

Yeah, the gender thing in the profile is annoying. I occasionally will set it back to female to evaluate what my calorie goal should be, because that is consistent with my hormones, but then I will switch it over to male and manually enter my goals so that it genders me correctly. As for weigt gain and dysphoria, yeah…

My biggest struggle today was that I spent the day sitting at my desk, writing a computer program... which invariably makes me crave m&m's or something else sweet to eat while I think.

Despite a month of travelling, being sick and doing field work I'm proud to announce that I'm finally below my starting weight from when I joined MFP several years ago. My fitness instructor was in an especially sadistic mood yesterday and it was my first time going to her class for a couple of weeks. I never thought that…

Welcome! I'm also an FtM trying to build some muscle.
-
I was introduced to cashew ice cream yesterday, which is very very bad. The good news is that it is marginally healthier than Ben and Jerry's... I've been slacking the last couple of weeks as far as logging goes and I'm kind of afraid to weigh myself. I've kept up my exercise routine surprisingly well, though. I pulled a…

Once again I've hit a rough patch as far as eating healthy. I seem to be running into this problem where I plan out healthy meals for the week, but I'm so tired when I get home from work that I don't want to cook any of them (regardless of how easy they are) and just eat the first thing in sight. But, I'm back to my usual…

Welcome to the group

I am transgender. I am still working on being comfortable with displaying who I am to the world, though it's been a lot easier since I've moved to another state with little chance of being seen by someone I know. But in the last year or so (actually it's getting closer to two years now, my how time flies...) I finally have…

33 more miles. 385.6: I set up camp, returned to the Great East Road, crossed the River Hoarwell/Mitheithel, enterded the lands of the Trollshaws, camped in the hills, climbed through the hills, got rained on, and camped by a stony shelf by a shallow cave. It's been a busy couple of weeks.
-
Hello. I'm doing pretty good. I've had a nice lazy weekend because I could, but I managed to not get too crazy and still eat relatively healthy (though I did discover that putting hot chocolate powder in pancakes is really good). Back to work tomorrow.
-
I'm doing all right. I've had a little bit of a chance to recover from the stress I've been under and am actually going to make it to the gym tomorrow for the second time in a week, which I haven't been able to do the last couple weeks. Hopefully that'll be a good thing because I found myself really dragging behind…
-
@starsonlyone I hope your dinner went well. @sappho123 that tornado sounds terrifying, small or not. I'm glad you're all right and second the underwear comment. @bhagarmckee congratulations on the long walk. I've had a stressful few days, but I've tried not to let myself go too much, which seems to have paid off because…
-
I did 21.1 miles since my last tally, so I'm at 352.6. I'm continuing in the valley. I've almost reached camp.
-
@starsonlyone I'm sorry about your experience. That never should have happened. @bhagarmckee I'm glad you are feeling better. I'm finally feeling better and back on the healthier eating wagon, though I have to fly home for a funeral this week, so I don't know if it will last. I also made it to the gym both Friday and…

Haha. Sorry to the squeamish of this thread, but fish and chips and coffee. I don't think I can ever drink coffee again.
-
I may have to try this. Purely because it just sounds fun. I am somewhat disappointed because I was eating fairly decent today (at least compared to my last couple weeks) and made a meal for dinner that I thought would be right around my maintenance calories, but it put me about 400 cals over. I was up all night puking my…

I will be sleeping with the lights on tonight, thank you very much
