I'm a trans man who has been in denial about it until about a month ago. Not quite sure what I want to do about transitioning, but as a starting point I am trying to build some muscle.

I am incredibly jumpy around loud noises I have to eat my food clockwise around my plate, saving the main item for last, and making sure to take an even number of bites I will tap a doorway with one hand as I walk through it to make sure I don't slam into it I will randomly slip into an Irish accent (unintentionally) and…

I'm 22 and strictly looking to get in shape. Feel free to add me.

Believe it or not, I'm still going, albeit ridiculously slowly. I sort of quit keeping track of miles for a while as things got overwhelming with school. Based on the stuff I've done the last little while I'm at 316.2, so, not quite four days from Weathertop.

287 miles in

I am getting very, very behind on my goal, but I'm still plugging along slowly. Reached the 262 mile mark.

I cut my hair super short when I was in high school and have kept it that way ever since. I love it, but that's also partially because my hair is extremely unruly and thick and hard to take care of when it's long... and I would shed by the handful when it got to shoulder-length. Anyways, I don't think that I will ever go…

115.9 miles in. Captured by the Barrow Wights. It's been kind of a slow week because school is starting to catch up with me... Hopefully I will be able to pick the pace back up after the semester ends.

110.7

I actually had a friend suggest that I try that a few days ago. I'm seriously considering doing the Fall Utah run.
-
Hm... I didn't walk quite as much as I wanted to this week. But I'm at 90.9, following a fold to Withywindle.

For some reason I can't get on the Eowyn challenge website to figure out where I'm at, but I'm at 73 miles today. I know I'm getting really close to Crickhollow finally.

63.5 Resting at Farmer Maggot's.

51.8...Reached a belt of trees, starting to rain.

I've reached a total of 46.1 miles today. Me and the dog are stopping to camp in Woody End after traveling with the elves.
-
Up to 31.5 miles and am stopping to rest, eat and rest some more. Should reach the first black rider tomorrow, provided that it doesn't snow too bad tonight...

I make complicated excel spreadsheets for fun, I'm an engineering student, I like to work with computers, the list goes on and on.

20.6 miles. I've finished day one and am now on a long stretch of the road rolling up and down.

My roommate made one once that she had to practically force me to try but it was actually really good. It was chili sauce, tuna, and cheese.

My hobbit name is Lobelia Proudfoot (which I'm not going to use because it makes me think of Lobelia Sackville-Baggins). My elvish name is Galadriel Culnamo.

I've had my frugal supper and am well on the way to Stock Road. 13 miles total. Right now I'm only including walking as that's the only exercise I'm able to do for an extended period.

I'm right there with you. I've gone a total of 9.1 miles.

I'm kind of hoping to do it in a year to a year and a half. I've got a long ways to go before I can walk as much as I need to to do that, though.
-
I did 2.5 miles today, which puts me at about 3.9 miles. I've crossed the plank bridge and am well on my way to the Brandywine Bridge. I will enter Tookland by tomorrow.

Hello I'm Shawn. I have to say, this is just about the most awesome thing that I have ever heard... and since I walk at least a mile a day, I figure I could probably make it to at least Rivendell by the end of the year. Based on today's walk, I am going West after having left Bag End.
-
I'm definitely going to give this a shot. I can barely do 5 good ones.
-
Any exercise counts. The real question is how quickly are you walking? If you are walking slowly, then you aren't really burning many calories, but if you are consistently walking at a brisk pace then it will get your heart rate up and you will burn some calories.

I would probably be careful about that. I think that the 100 is actually referring to a percentage of a recommended amount and not the actual amount. I have no idea how you would figure out what the amount is, though.
