Yes, but there are guidelines. You need to research your artist, look at their portfolios, ensure that what you want design wise is a specialty of theirs. Also, do not get a generic off the wall/out of a book tattoo. Take the time and design the image in your head, jot down the notes, bring references for color, image,…

Thank you everyone. I suppose it is a success story, I just haven't reached the end of the book yet :)

I met my husband in an online game called Acrophobia about 13 years ago. We were just friendly, no love interest... The game died after a year or so and came back 7 years later. I went into the game one day, and he was there. I remembered his user name so we started talking. After a few weeks of talking I invited him to…

Dear Sister-in-law, I've met you once, in the five years I've been married to your brother, in that time, you've managed to cheat on and separate from your husband for a deadbeat who abused your daughter, dating countless other men, fallen "madly" in love at least 12 times, within a week of meeting a new guy, and can only…

The most obvious answer of all... get a job. Start earning an income that will allow you to move out and make your own food choices. Why can't your husband get a job? I know times are tough, but you came from a fast food environment... I'm sure those establishments are still hiring. Trying to succeed at anything starts…

^ this for me too.

I only allow myself 1200 mg a day. I removed all processed foods from my diet as well.
-
Thanks for the post. I'd be interested to see what the book is about.

I agree. It's sad how people automatically assume the OP was talking about a processed Mac & Cheese instead of homemade.

bump! Looks delicious! I love the no-flour aspect!

I eat three things: 1. Low carb/low sugar Protein bar - my favorite is the Chocolate Deluxe by Pure Protein 2. A banana - my overworked muscles need the potassium 3. Almonds - healthy fat that soaks up a lot of calories

I'd be interested to know as well!

Try these: http://www.britishfoodshop.com/ http://www.britishfooddepot.com/ http://www.britishgoodsonline.com/ My husband is from England and missed a lot of the "home" foods. We live in Canada so we're pretty lucky that we can find the majority of the foods here in British shops. Including pasties! :)

6 months after I hit my UGW I am getting skin removal surgery :) If I am not able to tighten it on my own. I will also reward myself by applying to the police force.

Wow. He's incredible. That is the true definition of determination and will. Such an inspiring story, thank you for sharing!

If you are using pain as an excuse to drink, I definitely think it's become a problem for you. I'm not judging here, it's just my opinion. I also come from a family of alcoholics and do understand the signs. Good luck. I hope you manage to fight the demons.

If I see someone who is overweight or obese riding a bike, jogging, or working out, I always yell "Good for you!" and smile at them. They all motivate me to do the same! g00dm0rning, this is a wonderful post!

Initially I didn't, and on the advice of some of my pals, I started to eat them back and gained almost 5 lbs in a few days. I reset my body and continue to lose at a rate that I think is great! For some people, eating back works, for others it doesn't. Weight loss is a science and you have to figure out your formula. Good…

A police uniform. Applying is my "after goal" reward.

It depends on where you start. I think the heavier you are, the longer it takes. I started around the same weight as you, and I've lost about the same and I don't see it either. I can feel it though, and the inches show it! You'll get there! Keep working hard! Good luck with your transformation!

I agree. 1. You aren't consuming enough calories 2. You eat a lot of canned food which = high sodium 3. You are logging water, so I'm not sure if you are drinking enough. 4. You not only need to eat more for the calories burned, you need to eat more often. Add a high protein snack or two a day. Good luck!

We dated for about 5 months, got engaged after 4.5 months and married 2 weeks later. No, I wasn't pregnant :) I've been married for 5 very happy years. Sometimes you just know.

Great job Diana! You are doing such a great job!

At the end of the day, it is about more than just calories. If all you want to do is lose weight, sure, eat whatever you want within your calorie allotment. If you want to get healthy, eat foods low in saturated/trans fats, sodium, cholesterol and sugar. Eat foods that are high in fibre, healthy fats, protein and complex…

OMG You are rocking those! You have an awesome waist Amanda and you'll have some smoking curves when you hit goal, actually you will have smokier curves! I love, love, love the red and I'm in awe of you in the black! :) Beautiful!

Without a joke, there is a young woman who sits outside my office and eats NOTHING but junk. She opens her first full sugar coke and a bag of Munchos or some other fat laden potato chips (yes, chips for breakfast) at 9:30 a.m. She has buckets of chewy candies, chocolate, hard candies that she snacks on all day long. Each…

I'm with everybody and anybody who said Subway! Sodium, cholesterol, etc. is off the charts ridiculous. The veggie on whole wheat (listed on MFP) has something like 1300 mg of sodium. It's VEGGIES!! That's more than I eat in a day. I love how restaurants tout their food as "low fat, low cal", etc. but people don't pay…

My goal is to be healthy and be a great example for my son. My reward is a vacation to Paris so I can get nicer pictures of me than last time and a new car :)
