I also am doing it on hard floors but I wear my regular running shoes. When I first started Insanity I could barely do 1 pushup, and now that I have finished I'm definitely able to do a lot more!

IMO just stick to the core cardio & balance video! It really helps to not kill your body for that week!

I am in the same situation as you... Mine started out doing Insanity with me, but then dropped out on me and refuses to eat healthier. When we do go out, I just try to eat slower and it really does help. Also, it took me a long time to grasp the concept that you do NOT have to clean your plate completely and had to teach…

I am about to start my 6th week of Insanity and I love it! I wouldn't consider myself a beginner at exercise but i'm definitely not fit, and I still make it through just fine! They're not easy, but you get great results if you push through, do it right, and stay on top of it.

When I calculated mine I got around 2100 which seemed high to me too. I've been eating around 1900-2000/day and just started week 3 and can definitely tell a difference in my body and my clothes fitting better. Give it a try and see how it works for you :)

A co-worker I haven't seen in about 2 weeks came back today and noticed that my work uniform is looking baggy on me now!!

Chicken and broccoli or beef and broccoli!! Both of those are pretty low cal and high in protein (and yummy) :)

I just bought the Polar FT4 and I love it! Definitely well worth the money spent!

If you're working out then the bread really isn't all that bad for you! Just make sure you're getting the whole grain kind, but if you're exercising regularly, your body needs those carbs for energy.

I heard this on Rachael Ray's show from Bob Harper and i've recently started doing it. I find it helps keep me fuller and more energized throughout the day to start off with my biggest meal in the morning. Not sure if its a result of following this guideline but my pants seem to be fitting better lately! :)
