  • Looking at needing to stay at or under about 600 today. I am willing to take a meal and split it out for lunch tomorrow though so that helps a lot.
  • The menu.... can someone help? http://www.allmenus.com/il/moline/282734-bier-stube/menu/
  • If you're a beginner rider on an easy trail I would only log it as a slow walk, not as horseback riding. Even though it's not burning the calories I would also expect to be sore the next two days lol. "Just sitting there" as most people refer to it is going to use more muscle than you'd think. But it really doesn't do much…
  • Smoothies, soup, salads, liquid diets, etc. ANY of these will work if you are consuming less than your maintenance calories. But keep in mind that your mind doesn't normally register "drinks" as food so don't be surprised to be taking in smoothie calories and still be very hungry...
  • @breezee65 If you know where you are going plan your meal ahead of time. Most restaurants have their menus and nutrition facts online so you know what you are getting into ahead of time. If you are unsure of the calories then order a meal and ask for a box right off the bat. Put half of the meal in there and don't touch…

  • I'm in too! CW: 213 GW: 203 (Although my actual goal is 200 by "May Day")
  • I think this is true of a lot of us girls that are constantly told to "suck it in" when we were younger. My mother must have said those words every single time I entered the room. I still do it out of habit. Not sure I'll ever be able to break it. :/
  • There is a thread on here somewhere that has a bunch of photos and success stories of shorter women, maybe 5'5" and shorter or 5'3" and shorter? I can't seem to find it at the moment :(
  • Yep. There are some recipes here as well but pinterest is a great source.
  • I was about 13 and beretta had some pistols out for test shots at a range I was working at. Then it continued into the military and now range shooting for fun. My son will be 7 this year and just got his .22
  • 5 tattoos (all concealed by tank top and shorts) and a few piercings (other than my ears and tongue you'd have to be getting pretty personal to see). So while I like both I want them easily covered as well.
  • I have learned my kids can live without candy and sweets, I send it to their grandparents or friends or daycare, anywhere but the house. My other half has been told that either his junk food stays hidden or it's gone. (Luckily I am a chocolate fanatic but could care less about chips and snack items like that) so candy/ice…
  • Abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym despite what most gyms want to tell you. You can have the best abs in the world however you need a low body fat percentage to be able to see them at all. Work on the weight loss and the abs will follow.
  • In my experience (as much as it SUCKS) take photos! Pick an outfit that shows a lot, a swimsuit, underwear, etc. take photos from all 4 sides and stick them away some where (if you're anything like me you'll be disgusted by them - but DO NOT DELETE!). Wait a month or so and take new ones (preferably in the same clothing).…
  • I agree on full body and also be aware that other than "newbie gains" you will not build muscle while in a deficit.

  • There are also pros and cons to weighing every day, week, or month. Some people prefer one over the other. If not seeing the scale move really gets to you then avoid weighing every day and switch to weekly, biweekly or monthly this will create a more linear trend most of the time.
  • Fruit is a healthy sugar and may help with the sweet tooth. Otherwise your best bet is to avoid it completely if you're anything like me. I don't possess the ability to eat just ONE sugary thing, it's all or none.
  • I lost a ton of weight before my 2nd child. When people asked how I said I count calories and make sure I'm eating under a certain amount, they replied they didn't want to do that. So I then offered up that they could exercise more to burn the excess calories instead of cutting back eating, they didn't want to do that…
  • Honestly anything that comes out of Rob Bailey's mouth. Dana Linn Bailey and Rob are people I absolutely idolize in their morals and their work ethics. I can't even begin to list the things he's said that keep me going but "Show the world who the *kitten* you are!" is definitely a go to when I'm wearing down and need those…
  • Same here. I can go all day without eating and it not bother me, however the second I eat anything I am starving the rest of the day. Not fun.
  • I can just imagine the line! Even at camp the final part when people were in line to get autographs and pictures took forever because she's so down to Earth. she wants to sit and BS with everyone, give hugs, take multiple pictures, etc. Just an all around great person who doesn't act at all like she's anybody out of the…
  • A lot of the Saturday is them talking and anwering questions, then you watch them workout for maybe an hour, and then it's free workout at their gym so you can try their equipment and they wander around to help. And then Sunday morning is once again open gym. It's a great environment to work out in with some really neat…
  • Oh I did. I just kept looking back and forth from him to my best friend / gym partner. Rob is smiling, nodding, and going "Push" very gently. When I finally managed a rep he told me good job and stuck with me through the set (which I then completed like a normal person. It was f*cking amazing.
  • I couldn't believe how down to earth and fun they were. Just all around great people to meet and hang out with. though I have to admit being mid set and suddenly having Rob Bailey spotting you will make you a) go weak in the knees and b) completely forget how to function. Great times though!
  • I still squat light weight reps (110 lbs) and I can say my thighs and butt have significantly slimmed down in the past 90 days. But I highly doubt that bodyweight squats will do anything for anyone other than waste time unfortunately.
  • PF is not as bad as people make it out to be. I've dropped 30+ lbs at my gym. There is plenty of cardio equipment if that's what you're interested in. And for light weight lifting there is plenty to do. At $10 a month if it gets you motivated then why not!
  • Squats with weights? Or just body weight squats?
  • Keep at it. Take before photos. Take measurements. Stay off the scale for a month.
  • I had no issues losing weight on the pill or mirena. The nuva ring gave me crippling migraines so no luck there, the patch gave me blood clots in my lungs which prohibited any activity pretty much, and the depo shot convinced me I was starving to death. I think although it is still calorie in vs calorie out some types of…
