I'm 5'7" and my GW was 130. I'm at 122 now and I'm happy with how I look. Depends on how you look and feel.

This is a tough situation - especially without a therapist. Maybe try planning out your food for the entire day, making sure you add calorie dense foods and making sure that you are above your TDEE. And eat small, frequent meals. You need to re-train yourself to enjoy food and eat healthy amounts. You have a long road…

Congratulations! You look great!

I don't really see the need to drink that much water. 6 cups sounds fine to me. If you're thirsty, drink more. If not, don't worry about it. There are some days that I drink 8 oz and others where I drink 32 oz. All depends on how you feel.

Hi there. I'm 5'7" and started my journey at 178 pounds. I am now 123.6 pounds. I never took pre-measurements, but my waist is now 27".

You are precisely where you need to be. Please, let your counselors know how you are feeling. If you don't and you fool them into discharging you too soon, you will be right back there. Good luck

Actually, if you wash it down with a Diet Coke, it has negative calories.

OMG, you look AMAZING!!! And the special effects are awesome!!

Nothing wrong with eating before bed if you have the calories left. I eat relatively light during the day and heavier in the evening.

I'm 49 and currently trying to maintain (and tone up) after losing 58 pounds. I only recently started going to the gym, but I notice a difference already. I love the arc trainer and started out at only being able to do 20 minutes. I can now do an hour and then I do some light lifting to try and firm up my arms and abs. I…

It definitely takes getting used to. I am finally feeling comfortable in my new body. But, I am really uncomfortable when others comment on how I look (even if it's a compliment). Some people say "oh, you look great" and others tell me I am too thin. Either way, I would prefer that nobody say anything. I too felt like I…

Never should have married the man that I did.

Your story is so inspirational! Congratulations and good luck with the surgery!

I lost 54 pounds and my poor B's are now lowly A's. Sorry, but in my humble opinion, It's a small price to pay.

Great advice above. Also, set small goals for yourself each week (or day if weekly seems to overwhelming). A goal might be as small as taking a walk around the block or increasing your water intake by 2 cups. Either way, remember that the weight didn't get there overnight and won't be gone overnight. Good luck! You can do…

Elliptical - hand's down. I find it to be a much better all around work-out. I like that I work my arms and legs at the same time.

Hi there an welcome! I hear you on the belly fat! I'm 49 and found that the only thing that worked for me was significantly decreasing my calorie intake. I eat between 1,000 and 1,300 /day and the weight stays off. I also eat lots of protein and relatively low carbs. As for exercise, I love the arc trainer and I also do…

Agreed! I keep them in the freezer. Love my grapes frozen!

These sound great! I wonder how they would be if I use ground chicken or turkey?

I love ice cream and save 150 calories each day for a Weight Watchers Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream Cup. Totally satisfies my sweet tooth.

I agree with rayfu75 that processed foods every once in a while is fine. Of course you want to encourage healthy choices, but you also don't want to forbid foods. Maybe you would call me a bad parent, but my kids eat goldfish and some of those 100 calorie packs of cookies. They also eat fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy…

I used to have the same question. Until I lost the weight and everything was just sagging. Someone recommended that I start lifting. In a short time, I started to notice a difference. I don't do any heavy lifting. I use lighter weights and do lots of reps. And, my arms and legs are now toned.

I eat Dannon Light and Fit Greek yogurt every day for breakfast. I don't eat unitl about 10 AM, and I need something that I can eat quickly between meetings. It's delish and fills me up for a while.
