I try to eat healthy before the cook-out and not go the cook-out famished. When you get there, keep a bottle of water in your hand and have whatever you want....in moderation. Don't deprive yourself as it will most likely backfire. Just enjoy and hit the gym the next day!

I work out from 4 AM - 5 AM and never eat before. I drink a lot, but no food. I get to work at about 7:30 and eat breakfast at about 9.

Go in the morning. I'm at the gym from 4-5 AM because I know that I would NEVER have the motivation to go after work.

So many of us have been there.....unfortunately more than once. It's great that you owned it and logged it. Now, just move on. You are on a journey to better health and part of that journey is understanding what triggers a binge and how to recover from one. Just start fresh this morning. What I will often do is pre-log my…

I have a fitbit flex and love it. I like not having to log in my individual exercises as I care more about total calories burned, which the Flex calculates and syncs with my MFP account. I like knowing exactly how many calories I have to play with each day.

Another nurse here too......I'm an early bird and like to work out from 4-5 AM. I can then make it to work by 7. I find that I have far more energy on those days then on days that I don't work out.

I think I'm the odd one out here. I'm 50 and post-menopausal and strangely enough, had a relatively easy time losing weight after menopause. In the last 2 years, I am down about 30 pounds and am working now on maintaining. I love my early AM workouts (cause I can't seem to sleep anymore). Here are my stats: 50 years old -…

I pretty much eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri because it's easy and I like not having to think much about it. I'm a bit more relaxed on the week-end, but still like my usual foods.
