Water and tea. Started out with decaffeinated tea, just brown water really. Now I drink water all day and will have a glass of tea with dinner. After being a die-hard Coke drinker for at least 40 years, the only way I got off it was after I had to have my tonsils and adenoids out. Just didn't taste right - and I didn't…

Go buy yourself something pretty to celebrate!

GIrl Scout thin mints...too many calories for just a few yummy cookies.

I've found if I hit a plateau I have to "trick" my body into losing again. If have too many low calorie days, my body holds on to everything. So once a week I go eat a cheeseburger and fries (big hardship), and don't worry so much about going over a little bit on calories. Then for the next couple days I can eat low cal…

The hardest thing for me is to realize it's not going to happen overnight. Everyone on here is right, don't deprive yourself completely of your favorites, just enjoy them in moderation. I still have my cheeseburger and fries once a week, but it's a small fry and a small cheeseburger and I've given up soda completely. 4…

Yay! I can just imagine your excitement. I'm sure everyone will hear me screaming when I finally reach that milestone!

You've come a long way, baby!

Cher. We have very similar genetic backgrounds - I think that's why. More so when my hair is dark.

You can still do McDonald's, just in moderation. Once a week - I allow myself a cheeseburger and small fry. I gave up drinking soda when I got serious about this MFP thingie (3 months and counting!) - but I can get a big iced tea and it's almost as good! The side salad is very low cal as well. I've found that if I "cheat"…

Open diary, but been on vacation this week, not eating the healthiest. Back to it next week! Feel free to add me if you like.

Not bad? It's most excellent! I'm 3 months in this round and only down 22...and every pound was hard won. You are my hero!

Are you eating enough calories? With the added exercise you may be burning enough that your body thinks you're going into "starvation mode" and fights hard to give up the pounds. I've noticed if I'm eating too few, if I shake it up a bit with more calories for a couple of days - then cut back down, my body doesn't notice…

<--- broken ankle, no cartilage left. Compression (diabetic) socks help, as does ice and tylenol. I just expect to swell and hurt after a solid workout. Elevate it when you can too. And good shoes!!

5'9" and hoping to get down to 145lbs. Was at 120lbs years ago and felt great...but looked like walking skeleton...

Keep it rolling, you're an inspiration to us all!

I have an account. Most of the time I end up hiding it when too many weirdos are responding. I shut off the option for immediate chat, because it just pops up and I find that most annoying. Have yet to meet anyone off there, but I'm not a real serious dater, just cruising the water to see what sort of "fish" are out there.…

My support team drops in and out...so I'm always looking for friends. Down 22lbs, hope to lose another 20 before end of year.

Soda. And I only allow myself to eat out once a week. I may still have small cheeseburger and fries on my one day out, but will follow with salad for dinner to counteract! Everything in moderation.

That is incredible! Great job. :)

Wow! That says it all. Just WOW!

It does help SOO much to track calories and exercise. I recently realized I only ate 500 calores one day - and that's not good either - but at least the lack of food is not killing me! lol

I will reply so you don't feel so lonely! lol. I am old people so won't attempt to add you - but just wanted to say good luck and logging calories does help a lot!
