I have found that Harvest Land Ground turkey is great. They have pattys for burgers and then the ground is excellent in sloppy joes or tacos.

My metabolism has crapped out on me in the last 3 or 4 years (after I had to have my gall bladder removed). I struggled to get any weight off now. Sometimes I wonder if my blood pressure medicine has caused it or my age.

Man..if I go to a burger joint, it is sooo hard to not get fries if I get a burger. I just want fries with my burger. I do better if I just skip the burger and get a salad, or Wendys get a baked potato and chili.

I know McDonalds is considered the devil by many, but I gotta say that their Grilled Southwest Chicken Salad is the BEST. I eat it like two times a week. The sodium is a bit high but it is much lower than salads at other fast food joints. Its only 390 calories with the awesome dressing.

I have averaged a 2 pound a week loss and that is going under my calories a little and usually not logging exercise. Well the best way to prevent them from adding the total is to just not add your exercise. I guess you could manually put the exercise in and then just adjust the calorie burn to zero. I like to add mine because it is motivating to see the message at the end of the day that tells me what I "could" weigh in five weeks. I…

I am a big fan of the turkey sausages and boca burgers myself. I also love taco salads made with the meatless crumbles. That said, I am not eating it too much because I am trying to get in about 130 grams of protein a day to prevent muscle loss.

I weigh daily, but report weekly. I also lay off sodium dramatically the day before I report. Seems to be working for me. I usually average out at around 2 pounds a week.

I know..lots of it in milk! Sodium kills me and I just don't have time not to eat some processed foods. I find that raw eggs even have sodium! I think my weright is better in the mornings if I have a large cup of decaff coffee before bed...maybe its the diuretic effect?

I think turkey pepperoni is now my favorite. I would have never thought of cherry pie filling in oatmeal. Gotta try that!
