The humidity can makes running a whole lot harder. My mother used to run every single day for 3 years, and on a day with bad humidity it would still make her feel like crap. It made my walk/run yesterday hellacious. Don't get discouraged, your body probably just needs to adjust to running in the summer weather.

That does make sense. I am familiar with the more you drink the more you want phenomenon. It was that way for me when I first started drinking more water. It leveled off for me after a few weeks. If it still persists after a couple of weeks you may still want to mention it to your doctor, like I said, just as a precaution.

I like Natures Own Double Fiber Bread. It is only 50 calories a slic, with a lot of fiber, and it is really tasty. I also want to try ezekiel bread. I hear that is not great for sandwhiches.

Your doc definitely seems like a douche. If you can change docs, I would, but I understand that this is difficult in your situation. The perfect snack for me is either an apple, pear or orange and walnuts or almonds. Walnuts keep me full longer. I count out 20 almonds or 10 walnut halves (both 140 calories) and put them in zip lock bags for later. This way it is a grab and go snack.
