Yes! This may be one of the biggest challenges :) Air-popped with spray on butter is ok when you need a fix, but there is nothing better than stove popped popcorn with freshly melted butter and a sprinkling of salt. Yum!

I saw this post, was intrigued, and made it yesterday. Oh my gosh...yummy! My daughter polished off a huge amount of the chicken. We both loved it :) Thank you for sharing!

I use the EA Active 2 "game" for my Wii. It has multiple challenges (3 week or 9 week), levels (easy, medium, hard), and comes with a heart rate monitor for more accurate tracking. The game alternates cardio with strength training (light - with resistance bands) and it gets my heart pumping. I enjoy it and I'm moving!…

Love this! I just finished stitching my daughter a "Bowties are Cool!" picture....hoping to get a plushie to go with it :)

Why not start with the 20 (or is it 21?) day challenge on Active 2 first? Set it to easy just to get used to moving and the routine again. Rest days are mandatory so you won't overdo it. And there's still a level of accountability - even if it's only to a game! If you still don't think you're ready for the 9 weeks after…

I use my EA Active all the time! I have both the original and 2 :) I finished the 30 day challenge on the original about 2 weeks ago and am now working through the 20 day challenge on 2. I think they stopped supporting the online features a while ago since they are "older" games, but it still works great for me. My…

I've been a single mom since my daughter was 4 months old. She's a pretty easy-going kid so I'm very fortunate, but there are times where I wish there was someone to help bounce ideas off of or put me in "time-out" when I start spinning. I used to turn to food: when stressed - it's been a hard day so I deserve this pint of…

I'm currently at 9 tattoos and 9 piercings :) Can't wait to get more ink!!

I still use mine. :) My daughter and I challenge each other to games when it's too late or cold to go out for a walk. I use EA Active as well as the Wii Fit. It has the option of more sport drills and some strength training with resistance bands. I'm normally sweating by the time I'm done - but I'm horribly out of shape!

Tagging to re-read this again later. Thanks so much for posting!

Tagging... so I can admire all these transformations later!

Congratulations! I wish I could pass a bottle over to you right now :drinker:

Thank you so much for posting this. My daughter is 8 and very aware of everything I say or do. I'm trying to phrase all of my weight loss efforts as an attempt to be healthier and not as an attempt to be be skinnier (not that my body has ever seen skinny!) We talk about making good food choices, being active and how it's…

MIsfit and black sheep here! Remember "to thine own self be true", I've been working hard to make me happy and not worrying about "them".

I apologize that my message is coming through so long after your original post. I just read through the responses and although I don't disagree with the posters that you can indulge every once in a while, I love having modified recipes that feel like indulgence even when healthy. I use the chopped cauliflower all the time…
