I agree with everyone that counting calories and weighing and measuring everything is the way to go. If you're not willing to put in the effort you could try the plate method. I make egg salad using guacamole instead of mayo. It's not a calorie saver but I think its a healthier fat and its way yummier. I use the Wholey Guacamole 100 cal cups or you could just make your own.

Good luck on your fitness goals. On the issue of excess skin, the skin is already there, it's just filled with fat. I personally feel that loose skin isn't any less attractive than fat filled skin. At least that's what I tell myself when I look at my bat wings!

I started out at a 22-24 and even the Target plus size was kind of tight. I just stopped at Lane Bryant the other day and noticed they now have a workout clothing section. Maybe you could try there.

Maybe you should just start with brisk walking until after the baby. You could even do intervals of fast walking with slower to prepare you for running with a C25K program later. I love Noosa Greek yoghurt! It's full fat (11gms) and 270 cals per 8 ounce container but I work it into my diet. It is so yummy!

I set my activity as sedentary and have my fitbit(for steps) or Runtastic for runs/walks/bikerides add those calories. I feel like it keeps me more on track so if I have lazy days I don't get as much to eat. And if I'm really active it reflects that too.

I've been using the Avantree Jogger Sports bluetooth headphones for about 8 months now and I love them. No wires, they stay securely on my head with a springy back of the neck band and I can answer calls too with them. They were only $40 on Amazon.

Before is probably more accurate but realistically it doesn't work for me. I don't cook in nice little single servings. I'm usually cooking a whole roast or chicken or whatever and would have to weigh my portion after anyways. I just make sure I use the calorie selection for cooked when I enter it.

I used to get blisters on the balls of my feet. I now wear 2 pairs of socks and it has been completely alleviated. Being honest with myself. Brutally honest. Yes I DO eat too much. All those little snacks and bites here and there add up big time. Now I weigh everything and log everything. And when I don't and I don't lose I know why.

I rarely buy clothes in advance. Just because they may be the right size in the future doesn't mean they will look good on me or fit my particular body type. If it's a really good deal I sometimes take the chance though.

Oh also make sure you sync your other apps to MFP and not to each other AND MFP. I've heard you can have some weird problems if you do that.

No it won't double count. I automatically sync my Fitbit and Runtastic to MFP. MFP will see the time of your walks on MapMyWalk and subtract that from your Fitbit steps. If you manually enter an activity it will do that also as long as you put your start and stop time in.
