I've lost a sperm whale’s brain, need to lose a human head.

Thank you for sharing! I found it really interesting and some things were quite surprising (the low-fat diary tip)! Some others were just to prove they worked. I am definitely going to try some of those things :) Have you tried making any of those changes?

I agree with harmonyhouse. Don't keep any junk food in the house. I usually make some treats before that week, like mashed fruits with agar agar powder (making it like jello) or other fruity treats I can remember of that will be ok to munch on and since they're already made I won't go for the chocolate, chips, cake.

I'm slightly under 5"1', small framed and am aiming for 120 pounds for now. I started at 140 pounds and so far I've seen my upper body change (2' around the waist) but there's almost no change on the hips, they just seem to grow larger. Anyone has the same problem with hips?

From a look at your diary I have a few points that popped out: - I try to completely eliminate fizzy/sugary drinks; - Not drinking alcohol made a big change; - Try eating more fresh vegetables/fish instead of packed/canned; - If you have a sweet tooth always keep a piece of fruit with you, most of their sugar is fructose…

For gaspacho you don't have to heat anything up. The gaspacho my grandma taught me has diced tomatoes, diced cucumber, chopped onion, oregano, olive oil, vinegar, salt and water and ice.No need to cook anything and for the "reheating" I'd say put some more icecubes in the soup :D

I'm around day 7 of the shred and my knees haven't complained at all! Usually 1h of stationary bycicle will kill them but Jillian's workout hasn't had any bad effect on my knees. I think she mentions not to put the knee in front of your foot on workout 1. Don't kill yourself for taking a day off, just don't make it too…

I'd love to join you! I did 4 days 2 weeks ago but i went to level 2 too soon and then I had some family visit over so it was forgotten. I did notice the sore muscles after the first day, I could barely sit and stand. It did improve my posture quite drastically for those days.
