My favorite high irons foods are lentils and kale. they are a lot higher than others including spinach. Also, vitamin C makes you more efficient for getting iron from foods. more knowledgeable followers of the old ways, correct me if I am wrong but if a spell is sort of... driven by one's will than if you lose the resolve behind your spell for some reason than it will loose potency... that seems to make sense to me anyway... you might also try low volume high calorie foods like quinoa. Its tasty and very nutritious too. drinking milk or a fruit smoothy with real blended fruit is a good way to get those missing calories too. Hope that's helpful
