Things went well!! I spent two nights in the hospital and came home Saturday last week. I've been really lucky with getting my protein and water down. I was also set on having the sleeve, but my surgeon disagreed. I have a lot of weight to lose and the sleeve wasn't going to work fast enough for me. I got the call today....I'm APPROVED!! Surgery is scheduled for April 7. Next week is one day of pre op clearance and then I meet with my surgeon and go over details. I'm excited and scared out of my mind at the same time. I know it will be ok, I just have to calm down and trust that I chose the right path for me.

Thank you all! I have been trying a very low calorie diet for the last 2 weeks and it's not helping. I've actually gained so I think my body thinks it"s in starvation mode. So much to learn!

Saturday QOTD: If you could make one food calorie-free what would it be? My first thought was ice cream closely followed by beer. But I'm really missing my pizza so that's what I'm going for. Any kind will do, cheese stuffed, thin crust, pan crust, dipped in butter. Heck I'd even go for frozen.

I am Baaaccckkkk Diamonds!!! This week was killer busy for me and I'm sorry for my lack of involvement. I taught VBS for church this week and had 32 little Pre-K munchkins. Talk about a serious drain on energy. I'm so excited about this round of Diamonds! Lets kick it girls!
