  • Dee and Mike... fantastic progress! Day 30 done! Had hubby take some photos that I have to upload. Looked on the camera and I can not see much difference yet. Going to upload and see if maybe I can there. I guess I start on 3-4 Monday. Excited and scared at the same time. Going to have to preview it tonight or tomorrow. On…
  • Wow. Great job. You look fantastic! And what do you mean not photgenic!?! Look at that smile! Have a great weekend.
  • "I'm with the rest of you....that swing the leg thru on the yoga routine just isn't happening ...it's usually a 2 or 3 step process and hope I don't fall over somewhere along the way. " Okay, now I feel a bit better. I really do not enjoy that part of it. Tonight I just scooted myself and felt okay about it. Thanks for the…
  • I'm a stranded baby seal! I'm a stranded baby seal! I just completed Day 27 last night (missed a few nights last week so I should be starting my second 30 days but that's okay...life happens) which was a sculpt night for me. I moved up to 10lbs weights for the first third but then dropped back and just used my 3 and 5lbs…
  • ROFL!     Must be my problem too. Oh wait, mine is straightening shampoo...explains some lack of curves in one important place. Must not run low enough to straighten the lower half. Going to rub it on later.
  • {sigh} Wish I had that problem. My girls tuck in nicely with a Wal-Mart sports bra. It probably helps that I also wear a sports tank top on top of the bra. But I have heard of people doubling up their sports bras for better support. Good luck.
  • Pretty much what I was going to say...kick lower. Don't worry about keeping in time with them on the DVD, worry more about your form and balance. It will get easier.
  • My first few days on P90 were the same. I was achy the day after my first Sculpt session. But the workouts are designed to give you a day between the Sculpt sessions. If you are still sore, use lighter weights the next time, but keep doing it. After the first few days, my muscles soreness went away. Don't get me wrong, my…
  • You should not be embarassed at all. Look how far you have come, at what you have accomplished! You should be very proud of yourself. Great job!
  • God Bless her! I hope I can still be running at her age!
  • That is fantastic! I was just thinking this morning that I would like to be a size 10, but that I know I can be a size 12. I will be so excited when I finally get there. Right now I think I am just entering 16's (but still wear all my 18's but I put them in the dryer now TRYING to shrink them - instead of hanging them so…
  • I agree 100%. I could barely get through one. Now I can do 6 in the time he does 7 (the first two times - the 7-7-7 kills me). You will get stronger with each workout. I could not do one dip either. Now I can do 10 (still modified with legs bent but hey, it's still better than day 1) Hang in there!
  • Reebs, you'll get through it. Go easy if you have to. I was sore my first few days too. Great job!
  • I do not think this is necessarily too low. Everybody burns at different rates. I have much lower calories burns with Sweat 1-2 and Sculpt 1-2 than I do with my morning walk/jog (I wear a HRM with chest strap). My HR only goes into fat burn mode (120's-low 140's) during P90 but goes much higher (140's-160's) when I am out…
  • Wow! Looking good! You are doing a fantastic job. Keep it up.
  • I worked out the day before my 5K. However, I did not push myself to the point that I may be sore. I ran the morning before and did a DVD the evening before (but no weights). Good luck to you! You will do great!
  • I do a walk/run four mornings a week for 30-40 minutes in addition to P90. I love my morning walk/run and it has become a habit (yay me!). I added P90 for the purpose of building up muscle and sculpting. I do the walk/run in the morning, and I do P90 after dinner so it does not seem to tire me out. So, I am sticking with…
  • Yay Manda! Now you know you CAN! Woo Hoo! I must admit, I modify the jumping jacks, not because I think I can't, but they tend to aggravate my knees. Anything than takes both feet off the ground at the same time seems to do that so I always modify (no matter what workout program I am using) to have less impact on the…
  • Hi there. I am on Day 8 of P90 and loving it. You need to put your strength training in the upper portion of your exercise as well. Then you will show calories burned. MFP is just an estimate though. A HRM with chest strap is the best way to determine actual calories burned. The bottom portion of the exercise tab, the…
  • Took me a lot of years, but I know that there are no magic fixes. Just good old eating right (and logging it for true calories in - no guessing) and exercising. That is why I am HERE and not on some other 'magic' weight loss site. I'm doing this slow and steady. (Although I must admit... I do wish it was a bit faster but…
  • Just go in to enter your food/exercise today. When the screen comes up, look near the top for the date and go back to yesterday. No problem.
  • Awesome job! What a difference 40lbs makes. You are doing fabulous. Keep up the great work. (and I think you need to go shopping for some new pants - )
  • That must feel so fantastic! Way to celebrate those NSVs! :drinker:
  • Okay, okay... I will not fast forward the yoga part tonight. I promise! X my heart I will push through it. I am looking forward to getting in front of the video tonight. I have been aching gently all week so I know muscles are working hard.
  • WOW! That was my reaction. You look fantastic! That dress really does flatter your new figure. What a wonderful change in your before and current pictures. An inspiration! You are making fitness a priority in your life and it sure is paying off! Wear that dress proudly all day!
  • I just started P90 on 1/31. Tonight I will do my third workout. I did not like the yoga part of the Sweat DVD. I did about 2 minutes then fast forwarded...I get discouraged because I can not do yoga. Once we got to the legs, I was quite surprised that working out slowly made my muscles scream while doing all of those…
  • Aack. I am terrible but this sounds like a fun way to push through some calories. Just hope my DD does not steal the game again.
  • I lose very slowly too. But at least you are more aware of your habits and getting healthier! Keep it up!
  • You look amazing! Great job. What a great feeling it must be to see all of your hard work paying off!
  • Love it! Great job!
