cool  sounds like you had a good dinner!

I'm mostly repeating a lot of answers, but this is what helps me: protein & fiber in my slim-fast shakes, which I have with a fruit for breakfast. and eating every 2 hours, 3 at the most. I'm making it longer now, but that's what helped me at first. also like someone else said, try drinking more water.

I think it's definitely possible... this coming from someone who lives with a brother that has ADD.

that's great and you look great!

hmm... when I reach my ultimate goal, I will be EXSTATIC! I will hopefully have money to buy all new clothes and maybe treat myself to a 2 or 3 day visit to Disneyland. I'd absolutely  that. and even if I don't have money to do those things the way I'd like to, just reaching my goal will be good enough. I'd probably…

I really like the Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD, but I guess it would probably be a lil boring too. there are different things done in it though, and it's intense... well maybe not if you're already fit lol... hope this helps :)

I  the elliptical. it is my favorite way to exercise. I could spend 20-30 minutes on it without wanting to get off. at one point a few years ago, I spent at least 35 minutes on one at the gym before doing the random machines that work various muscles in the circuit they had... everyone was like "wow, I can't even…

yep   I have 3 too. the two older ones are white with tan hoods (one has a stripe down it's back- don't know if you can see it in the pic though). the baby is tan with white on her belly. is a dumbo rex one that is hairless? I can never remember lol. it's always cool to find people who like rats. most people…

it is a cool thing. I don't really have anything that I've rediscovered, just things I didn't eat often: bananas, apples, yogurt, etc.

I had a thing I wanted to share in this post, even though I've only been exercising regularly (this time) for 3 weeks... Saturday, I was absolutely dreading working out with my Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD, which is really intense... but yesterday, I actually WANTED to do it. I woke up with the desire to do it. I could…

I've never tried it, but I can imagine that it would be HORRIBLE. if I'm not mistaken, you only get to have that drink and nothing else... but I could be wrong... either way, losing 10 hours in 2 days sounds like it would be horrible and not fun at all.

I get headaches from allergies and when I'm really stressed out. When I first started dieting, I had headaches for most of the day. I figured it was partially due to my allergies, and partially due to decreasing my intake of caffeine. I don't know if that could be why for you.

it is a great site  I like it a lot too.

welcome back! and good luck! I know it's hard... but you can do it!

hehe sounds like my brother (who's 18). he's worse than I ever was. I'm only 20 so I admit I still have that demanding side... it'll get better. especially when he goes to college lol

I can't even remember my FAVORITE shows when I was a kid, and it wasn't that long ago... I do remember some I watched and liked though: Rugrats, Doug, Arthur (when I was really young). I don't know what else.

oops I meant Jillian's workout for level 2 lol... I keep calling her Julian :embarassed:

I have one of those but couldn't use it.... maybe in a couple months I'll be able to use it. would be nice to have a piece of equipment to use and it folds so it won't have to be taking up space in my room except for when I'm using it. I hadn't even thought about it. and it is a good workout, it looks simple and looks…

I haven't really noticed a difference for the better, but I don't wake up sore. even when I started working out and was doing a Biggest Loser DVD workout. I thought for sure my muscles would be sore from that... but they weren't, at least not significantly sore. I do however feel better and stronger

they wouldn't be a good substitute for a banana, but they are a good subsitute for fatty high calorie things. and definitely better for you than most things.

my fridge is shared with my parents and brother, and probably needs a clearing out.... but what's in there that's MINE is: Benefit yogurt celery baby carrots Propel water not much in there that's actually mine, since most of my stuff is in my room: my fruits, my cereal/granola bars, and my cereal. everything that doesn't…

that's a good idea  I'll save that to my computer for later. I don't really cook right now but I might start when I move out of my parents' and it would be good to have some healthy recipes to use.

I agree about chewing gum. sometimes you just have to pretend that stuff isn't there and tell yourself you don't need it... train, trick, or fool yourself and if you keep doing that- eventually it'll be easier. it'll just take a lot of work. hope this helps

music affects me the same way most of the time, that is why I'm so addicted to it lol. it's a good motivator. I listen to my favorite music when I go out for a walk and it makes me feel even better about what I'm doing.

I don't really have that problem yet. everyone I actually eat around knows I'm on a diet. but I do say diet cuz then I don't have to explain further and also because I hope to be able to eat relatively normal (not as much as I used to- but consume my exercise cals too) when I reach my goal weight. you say "I'm doing a…

my opinion is do whatever works for you as long as you don't end up feeling faint or sluggish. and if your doctor says it's okay, then it should be okay.
-
Welcome and good luck with everything  you can do it. it takes a lot of work but it's worth it.
-
that's great you feel like you're making it work! and good that you rewarded yourself but stayed in your calorie limit  that's always good. then you don't feel bad for rewarding yourself. I'm almost 3 weeks in, making it at least twice as long as I usually do, and I feel like I've finally got it too. I'm determined…

I'm not a soon to be bride, but I want to welcome you  I hope you like it on here. I just joined a week or so ago and I like it.
