  • I LOVE the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. you are so right that they don't taste low fat. and they're the same size as the regular ones. I wanted to get some yesterday but I had to walk home and didn't want them to melt lol. so I'll have to get some later. one of my gym trainers (not personal trainer lol) that I had when…
  • I was trying to start a diet when mine first came (that was 2 1/2 weeks ago) but the second day I managed to start eating better... it's just really hard cuz it's a challenge in the first place, but then you want to eat a lot more and you can feel even worse when you don't get to eat what you want! that's how I felt so the…
  • one time isn't going to hurt you, especially if you exercised that day... just remember, you can get back to your plan the next day and try to forget what you did that was disappointing. once in a while won't hurt you too much as long as you get back in the swing of things right after. if that makes sense.
  • awesome! that's great!
  • that's amazing! I'm glad she's okay and you still have your friend  that is scary stuff.
  • hmm... my dog... is afraid of falling off the bed. I have no freakin clue why... he's never actually fallen off the bed to my knowledge... but he sleeps so close to me and has to be touching me. and when I try to GENTLY push him away from me, he freaks out, jumps up, and gets off my bed. my cat... will sit in front of her…
  • I only have a goal piece/s of clothing for my first mini-goal... I have 3 pairs of pretty nice/good looking jeans that I either tried on once and found out I couldn't zip/button them, or had only worn them a few times before I got too big... one pair is 3 sizes smaller than my starting size, and the other two pairs are 5…
  • 1. I eat sandwiches from the outside in- around the edges once before eating it normally top to bottom 2. I dreamed of being a mother since I was like 8/9... is that actually weird? 3. I used to be paranoid to the point that I'd sub-conciously think I was being filmed/recorded almost anywhere... even in my own house...…
  • thanks for the encouragement :)
  • I've never tried Herbalife. I use Slim-Fast though.

  • mine says 2300 :noway: that's too high for me, in my opinion... then I'd need to burn 2900 to lose 2 pounds a week. I personally don't even think that the math works anyway. and I don't want to overthink what I'm doing. so I do 1500 calories consumed, and don't think about how many I'm burning- I just do as much exercise…
  • I think when I was a kid, my mom took me to Weight Watchers. I think she was just trying it though... it costs a lot... now she goes to TOPS. I'm too tired to remember what that stands for although I should know even then, since I went there too when I was a kid. I hear Weight Watchers is expensive.
  • I need to lose more like 130-150, but to be under 200- I need to lose about 84, which would put me just under. I'd still need to go further though... but just to be under 200 for the first time in, I don't know how long, probably seven-ish years (so that would've made me thirteen).

  • If you get a veggie or turkey sandwich it's only 230 calories each 6" sandwich. What I do when I go is get a veggie sandwich on wheat bread, and a yogurt, and the total calories is only 310. that's about how much I'd have eaten at home if my mom had cooked or I had eaten a Budget Gourmet (most of their meals are between…
  • I saw it at Walmart earlier this week. if I did cooking and could afford to get the food to make what's in the recipe part, I would buy it... it looks interesting and the recipe that caught my eye was "spicy chicken" I love spicy and I love chicken. I'd love to try that some day when I have the money for the book and…
  • I love these. they don't taste as good as the actual cookies, but they're still amazing  they're sooo good and a good treat to have once in a while... or once a day.
  • don't feel guilty! 300 calories over is not a big deal. and you need to cheat every once in a [great] while to keep your sanity... at least in my opinion.
  • I've never had a celebrity sighting/encounter unless a concert counts, but I was no where near the stage.
  • I live in central California... it is NOT always sunny here  lol one of the DJs on a local radio station used to call it (IDK if he still does)- SMOGGY California
  • I'm a babysitter/nanny... trying to find a new job with that since my last one ended. but with the economy it's HARD.
  • Is it okay if I join? I know this challenge started like a month ago or something.
  • good luck to both of you
  • I'm not even sure about it... I haven't started using the food/exercise logs... I don't even know if I will. I keep track of my food and calorie intake on my computer. and I don't even think about how many calories I'm burning, I just do it. I don't want to over think everything, it makes me go crazy and get discouraged or…
  • I'm so sorry you lost your friend :frown: I know it feels horrible. I hope you feel better soon.
  • I weigh every Thursday, might weigh every other week after a while when the results start to decrease so it's not as disappointing.
  • This is a good idea! I am never fit (or more fit) for summer. I'm always late to lose weight for it too, for example- it's usually about mid May before I realize I should have tried losing some weight... this summer WILL be different for me  I'm actually looking forward to it. hopefully it'll be cooler too, without…
  • I hope you feel better soon  my guess is to wait at least a few days, probably more like 5ish so your body can recooperate.

  • I had a similar experience about a year ago. I hated drinking water, even purified water... so I started using the little flavor packets... and after a few months of that, I got tired of it cause it kinda tastes funny after a while... so I started drinking plain water (still purified though- tap water is  ) and…
  • that's definitely a good idea  it's a good way to keep yourself accountable.
  • so far, I've been managing to keep my eyes on the goal... and all my little/mini goals... And I'm just not overthinking everything. when I do think of the food I shouldn't have, I tell myself repeatedly "I don't need it" or "it's not worth it" until I believe it lol. and also I've been letting myself have a 'splurge meal'…
