wool running socks, I have to sometimes wear large band aids over the area...... my feet are getting tougher..... no blisters for awhile now!! :-)

I agree...... you need to put the shoes on and move around in them.... don't order anything online!!! ~~ been there done that :sad:

I also stand by my Saucony's I tried Reebok Runtones and Nike Lunarglides and had terrible shin splints because there was not enough arch and support. I have ran 3 5k's and a 1/2 marathon in my Saucony's they are amazing...... your legs will also strengthen and shin splints will get better. I found Icy Hot and wrap in ace…

definately have to have the right shoe! I bought 3 pair before I found the right ones!! I had shin splints for months. :sad: Best thing I found to do, icy hot and wrap ace bandages around your legs at night. In the morning you wake up pain free!!! :drinker:

You are so right!! I joined to just count calories too...... now I have who knows how many friends! lol and I look forward to hearing from them and seeing what they are doing today!! My weight spiked fast.... not that I was little before losing her... my lab work came back and Dr told me I am very high risk for heart disease, thats what killed my Mom. I refuse to die at 64 yrs…

I did a 1/2 marathon June 4th, I have a 2 bottle belt, I put gatorade in the bottles. it helped alot having that with me.... drank the water from the stations..... =)

my name is Stacey, and I too am a PB addict. After putting PB on my toast, I always go back for another scoop to go directly to my mouth.... I have NO control. =) glad I am not alone!!! =)

june 4th I ran one, they gave us 3 1/2 hours to finish. I finished in 2:56 =)

I never realized how much I could sweat lifting weights!!! I love circuit training! =)

could the difference in numbers be because the difference in your size also.... I know the bigger we are the more calories we burn!! ???? just an idea.

I did just strength training and core exercises this morning at the gym, no cardio, wore my HRM 50 minutes I burned 263 calories. I was pretty pleased with that! =)
