I am sure you know about this, but I always look here- http://www.utahrunning.com/calendar I am not sure what those types of races are like. I have heard that the Spartan race is coming, and I keep seeing things on facebook about the foam 5K. Good luck and have fun Utah friend :)

They suck! I had them badly when I resumed jogging after a 6 month break. I don't have them anymore now that I have been a bit more consistent with my jogging, but now I keep getting groin pains :/

Cookbook I like- "Appetite for reduction" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Recipes are low fat and vegan... oh and delicious!

Working in a hospital and seeing people suffer and die from things (hypertension, type 2 diabetes, ect) that probably could have been prevented if the person had a different lifestyle.

1. The importance of proper running clothes and shoes. 2. Runkeeper app!! & Pandora "dance cardio" or "hip hop and power work out" playlist hope people add a lot more, I could use advice too!

I like to run outdoors over anything indoors. But, if the weather is bad or when I am inside with my kiddo I like to do work out videos (Jillian) or indoor biking or treadmill. However, I have found that I can still enjoy running in bad weather as long as it isn't terrible and I am dressed appropriately.

Those movies are motivational with many convincing reasons to eat a plant based diet. I am vegetarian, and just watched "Veducated" on Netflix, and want to aim for less dairy in my diet.
