Yep - I wear clothes from when I was skinnier as a reality check. It reminds me that I was smaller once and can get back to that size again if I put in the effort. I also feel really uncomfortable wearing them, which is motivation to do something about it!

This is a great story :) I'm currently on week 4 and would like one day to enter myself into a marathon. Loving hearing about people who've achieved it. Keep up the great work :D

I think it depends on how active you are currently. For people who never do exercise, it's a good introduction to exercise. Otherwise, you may find yourself disappointed. The most 'exhausting' thing is jogging on the spot. However, if you want a really good workout, go jogging outside imo. It will save you a load of money…

A bad day for me is usually if I go out to eat. Due to the fact that I cannot know for certain what the calorie content was, I don't log it. (This doesn't count for chain restaurants as their nutrition info is generally on this site). Also, I just don't want to beat myself up too much about having the occasional bad day.

From the Vale of Glamorgan :) feel free to add me - I'm on pretty much every day.

I sometimes log dinner in advance, especially if I know it's not going to be the healthiest of dinners, just so I can see how much I have then for lunch/snacks and hopefully not over eat!

MFP has already answered the question for you: "If you know how many calories you burned (e.g. from a machine at the gym), manually enter that value above."
-
But you're making progress every day :) that counts! C25K says to repeat weeks if you aren't able to progress to the next ones, and so although you might be finding it hard at the moment, you've already demonstrated you're improving and getting better. I would encourage you to stick with it - after all, 30 minutes of…

My excuse is that I'll have an essay to be doing for the following Thursday. I'll go for a run on Sunday anyway. That way, I'll be with you in spirit ;)

I wouldn't mind doing this, but you have to enter by the end of today...

I kind of feel like this at the moment. I'm always thinking ahead about dinner, as I find this to be the most testing time of the day calorie wise, and how I can adjust my other meals throughout the day in order to compensate for perhaps a larger/smaller dinner. I also now have a guilt with regard to eating that I never…

YES!! I used to think I drank lots, but since keeping track, I've realised it's not so much. Most days, I struggle to get over 5, especially with drinking other drinks like tea and coffee throughout the day. On days that I exercise, I find it easier, but that's obviously due to the fact that it makes you thirsty! My mum…

Haha!

Seriously, no one will care if they see you jogging past them, much less judge you. The only hindrance you have is your mentality. Why do you even care? You'll probably never see them again. Take the plunge, it's worth it :)

MFP initially put me on 1200 kcal and I found that really hard to stick by, even with exercise. 1400 will still allow you to lose weight, so I'd personally stick with that.
