Haha!! Yes that would be easiest :p I guess it's like a little challenge to myself. I'm horrible at resisting candy so if I can not eat my most fave kind then I'm pretty happy with myself.

I agree. On another note - If your medicine is keeping your thyroid at proper levels then difficulty loosing weight shouldn't be caused by your thyroid. How often do you have it checked? Maybe there's something else you need to look at? I know my vitamin D levels are funky and if I don't take my supplements I get sluggish.

This thread is a great idea! I'm just starting so nothing to report for yesterday but... Just for today I will: - Avoid sugars not found in fruit (already had my coffee this morning with some creamer in it so from this point forward in the day ;) - Go for at least a 30 minute walk after work

My Hubby says similar stupid stuff. He doesn't mean to be an a## hat he just doesn't think his comments are rotten (at least that's not his intention) I definitely do not ask for his opinion in this aspect of my life because I don't want to hear it.

Ok, I know its still artificially sweetened but when I'm having a sugar craving I get a couple of (just a couple) sugar free wafer cookies and some sugar free cool whip. It does the trick. I agree with melly0405- I think sugar is an addiction too. the less I eat it the less I crave it.

Oh I almost forgot -snot sucking. You know when someone makes that loud sucking through the back of their throat noise and we all know it means their inhaling some snot to swallow down... Its not the action, we've all been sick. Its the loud gross noise. Go blow your nose or something. Eeeeewwwwww!
