Yesterday was a bad eating day. But today is a new day
Just for today 3/9
1. Get all my water in
2. Take the stairs as much as possible
3. Try to get outside ( don't let the snow stop me )
4. Don't let the stress of life make me turn to food.
Tomorrow I go to the Drs for physical hoping for good news since I'm down almost 20 more pds since last there.0 -

Well my Sunday did not turn out as quiet as I planned. My dad is in the hospital and was having a rough time yesterday, so instead of time to myself I took a trip up to spend time with him and mom. It looks like he will be OK for now, but I need to be ready to go back up at any time.
1. Take a long walk with my husband
2. Log Everything I eat and no snacking after 10pm I did manage one goal anyway.
3. Write down 5 things I am thankful for.
Just for today (Monday)
1. Walk as much as possible, 10000 steps at least
2. Log everything I eat and don't forget water
3. Keep in touch with my parents and my sister
4. Relax and take things as they happen. Do Not let myself get overwhelmed with the What If's.
Have a Good Monday!

30 min walk & Pilates class.
Drink 8 cups of water.
Challenge myself!!0 -
Just for today I will
1) Use the stairs at work
2) Stay out of the candy jar (this works when I write it down)
3) Accept what I cannot control (work related) and be positive
4) Take a walk outside0 -
I will keep my teaspoon out of the peanut butter jar.0

Just for today I will...
stick to my calorie limit
Have only 1 coke zero
Drink 90 ounces of plain water0 -
Monday is here, sun is shining...the first whispers of spring are cheering me significantly.
Logged and stayed in my calorie goals for the weekend for the most part, but ate a lot of salty, junky food and I can feel it. I can also see it on the scale - water weight!
- Drink ~128 oz of water (five water bottle refills plus a little extra!)
- Take a easy walk at lunch to enjoy the sunshine.
- Get to the gym after work and do some easy cross training.
- Log log log!
Have a great day, everyone!0 -
We got away for one day on saturday to see our grandsons- and it was great. The temperature was 71 and sunny, so a beautiful day for a drive, just my hubby and I. A day to get away from the worries, and play tag with the boys, celebrate our grandsons 9th birthday, see our son and DIL, and enjoy the 5 year old. Sunday was back to reality, but it was a wonderful break. But I got in a long 5 mile walk, AND took my bike out for a 6 mile bike ride. I have to build up my endurance again on my bike, but it felt SO good to get back our riding again!
But I didn't do so well on the eating. Too much Kansas City BBQ and birthday cake! But today is a new day.
so just for today, 3/9
1. walk minimum of 120 minutes if I can get the walk in before it gets dark - or 45 min on ellipitical
2. log every bite I eat.
3. Look at the positives in life
4. Do not let the scale influence my desire to eat healthy.

Great line! I hope that your dad is doing better. Take good care of yourself also - like you said, "Do not let yourself get overwhelmed with the what if's".
Look at the positive! Prayers for your dad.0 -
Just for today.
1) Drink at least 60oz of water which is only three of my water tumblers.
2) Go for a walk after work instead of going into the kitchen to mindlessly snack after work.0 -

Why not just toss the egg into the garbage? I have done that before when people insist on getting me candy.
Haha!! Yes that would be easiest I guess it's like a little challenge to myself. I'm horrible at resisting candy so if I can not eat my most fave kind then I'm pretty happy with myself.0 -
I never log in to MFP on the weekends so here I am on Monday....
Just for today......
I'm super tired for some reason so I am going to make myself get away from my desk at lunch. If not, by the end of the day that Cadbury egg will be in my mouth. Bad decisions happen when I'm tired and exercise helps wake me up.
I will drink lots of water
I will go for a long walk when I get home from work0 -
I love this thread its a nice reminder to take this journey one day at a time thank you

I will be kinder to myself

Well I blew off any goals I had this weekend, it was my sons 18th birthday and we had a BBQ so I pigged out and didn't get any exercise in because of the rain. I am a little discouraged because I have not lost any weight in 2 months and I weigh more than I did when I joined MFP. So just for today 3/9
1) I will run even if it's raining
2) stick to calorie goal
3) 80 oz water
4) no eating after dinner
Good Luck All!!0 -
