@azulvioleta6 - so sorry you have been sick Please take care of yourself. Don't over do it.0

I think this thread is a great idea. Taking one day at a time is a good way to look at things. My two goals for today are:
1) Exercise for at least 30 minutes.
2) Slow down, relax, and take time for me.0 -
After a horrific l yesterday, today 3/6 I WILL:
Log everything
Stay away from garbage food
Drink 8 glasses of water
Excise 10 miutes0 -
I met my goals for 3/5 it was hard to get motivated to run but I didn't want to have to come on here and admit I failed!! I also brushed my teeth right after dinner which totally helped me not do any late night snacking. So just for today 3/6:
1) 80 oz water
2) 40 mins cardio
3) only 1 beer after work
4) do some squats and sit ups even tho I hate them with a passion haha
Happy Friday!!!0 -
Just for today I am going to:
1) walk 20,000 steps
2) Log EVERYTHING I eat
3. Encourage someone else0 -

I hear ya! Squats are HORRIBLE! Frankly, I don't like any indoor exercise. But they are ohhh so necessary.0 -

Nah, squats are fun!
I may change my tune on this Monday, after I do hundreds of them again after a week of almost no exercise at all. Uff!0 -
Today I will:
Walk outside for about 30 or more minutes (depends on wether or not I have to climb a snow bank or two)
Meditate for 15 mins
Log
Plan ahead for dinners
Go to Pilates class
Go to bed early again
Have a great day everyone!
Did everything but plan ahead for the dinners. I will make preplanning a priority as I make better choices. Glad I'm getting to bed earlier now that we'll be losing an hour on Sunday w/the time change.0 -

Just for today 3-5 I will
Get at least my 8 glasses of water
Not buy any crappy snacks on my grocery run tonight
Continue to ignore the cadbury egg in my desk drawer
Got my water in, bought no bad foods at the store last night and DID NOT eat the cadbury egg! (that one was hard!)
Just for Today 3-6 I will
not snack on things before dinner (even if they aren't "bad" - NO SNACKING!)
Get my 8 glasses of water again
continue to ignore the cadbury egg in my drawer
Can you give the egg away?? I have a weakness for them.0 -
I feel like I am starting to slip. I ate a couple of things the I didn't log yesterday (a handful of chocolate chips & a piece of chicken).
Just for today
1. I will not eat anything until I weigh & log it
2. I will eat only 1200 calories
3. I will go to the gym & run
4. I will drink 2.5 litres of water
Happy Saturday!0 -

3. Celebrate my success, so far.
4. Take some strength renewing naps.
As of this morning's weigh in, I've lost 52 lbs.0 -

Seems like there is a dark cloud over us right now, and I can't see the light at the end. I have to work harder on looking at the positives, and hope we get to make the one-day trip to see our grandsons tomorrow.
1. Stay positive. Things could always be worse.
2. Exercise 30 minutes. I did not do this yesterday. I know exercise helps, so I need to concentrate and be sure this gets done.
3. Do not eat for comfort. Food is for fuel - not for therapy! I need to remind myself of this everyday.
Joan I am so sorry things are piling up on you right now. Know we are here to give you any support we can. There is a light somewhere at the end, even if it is covered by a cloud for now. Sending hugs and prayers your way.0 -
Saturday's can be tricky for me...
Today I will:
Drink 8 c of water
Meditate for 15 mins in afternoon
Log & preplan
Ask hubby to watch youngest child, encourage oldest child to walk w/me for 30 mins outside.
Get 20 mins of weightlifting in at gym
Remember to put yourself on the list!!0 -
Just for today:
I will log every bite and stay within macros, and
I will exercise for 30 min.
I will resist evening temptations! (Can be good all day, but can be weak after 6 PM!)
Taking one day at a time - thanks for this thread!0 -

1. Take a walk before work. This is the only way I will be sure to get it in.
2. Log Everything I eat and no snacking after 10pm.
3. Call Dad before I go into work. Now that he is out of ICU I can get through to him at the hospital. I did try but he was asleep and I did not get a chance to try again. I'll call today
Saturday. Just for today I will
1. Take a walk. Outside if possible.
2. Log Everything I eat and no snacking after 10pm.
3. Stay on task at work and get as much done as possible. I can visit with coworkers another day.
I hope Everyone Has a Super Saturday. Remember, every journey begins with a single step. No matter how small that step is, it is one step closer to your goal.

I will plan today before it plans me.

1. Do at least 10,000 steps to bring up currently pathetic step count only did about 2500 before I got completely worn out.
2. Do gentle exercise. Did not make it to the gym or dance class.
3. Get back to eating fruits and vegetables...today's goal=5 servings
I'm still really struggling with lack of energy and I am still sick, as much as I don't want to admit to it. However, I stepped on the scale today and was back at my lowest weight--a HUGE relief as have been weighing as much as 5 pounds more while ill.
Saturday:
1. 10,000 steps or bust! Seriously, I often do 20,000...I should be able to get there.
2. Get out of the house...maybe get to the gym and do something small.
3. Eat good food/real meals.0 -
I am totally new to this. Never struggled with weight at any time in my life, however at age 43 I am uncomfortable with my weight, my physical ability, and my appearance. This thread appeals to me because I tried very hard to focus my life one day at a time. I have read your blog and the comments, & I think I can do this. Just three goals per day, one day at a time. Thank you. More will be revealed!0

You don't have to do 3 goals. You can just do one if that's all you can handle for the day. There really are no rules.0 -

February saw no loss or gain so I think a daily accountability will help me stay on task.
Just for today 3/7 I will:
Make good choices at the birthday dinner (one pc of cake is sufficient)
Get my 10000 steps in (or walk until calorie deficit is achieved)
0 -
Losingrae I do not like indoor workouts either and azulvioleta6 maybe I will find squats fun if I do them at the beach or park or something. Way to go improvingbill!!! That is a huge loss0

My first day here. I am fairly new to MFP. Have been using it for the past 5 weeks. Saw progress the first few weeks. But last week and half has been pretty frustrating. I am eating right (I think so) excersising at least 45 mins 5 times a week, scale shows different story.
Just for today:
1) I won't step on that scale.
2) get my 10000 steps in
3) try to go with no salt the entire day.
Thanks for this inspiring blog.0
