EXACTLY! If anyone is to blame for a child being overweight, its the parents. If you do not want your child overweight or yourself for that matter, YOU have to do something about it. No one else is to blame for it. Put down the cheeseburger and fries and go eat something healthy. Gees...I just love the "its not my fault"…

If he is your husband, then shouldn't you just be able to ask him?

I try to take pics every 2 weeks or so. It does show you a lot that you may not see on the scale or even in your clothes. Good luck!

When my son was young, I would incorporate him into my workouts.

40 - 45 minutes a day Monday -Friday...weekends depend on how much free time I have...I do also throw in a couple extra bike rides of 30 minutes throughout the week.

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out!!!

Ok This just made my day!!!! Thanks!

You have done an amazing thing! Way to go! When I see stories like this, I actually feel like I can lose the next 30 lbs that I want to lose. The first 15lbs were fairly easy for me but keeping it going and sticking with it is hard. Seeing this causes me to focus and try harder. Thank you for your inspiration and what a…

Ok ladies!!! Lets sound off...how is everyone's journey going? I just hit the 15lb mark with 7 months to go!

Mine for today...well my workout partner and I finished our workout and were heading to the locker room downstairs. She said, hey we still have 5 more minutes to get our full workout in...so we ran up and down the stairs to finish out our time! Yes...I think she officially hates me now. Go us!

Looks like a bunch to me...you put the donuts and the candy bar back. You thought before you bought! And no dressing on the salad...hey Ill give you at least 4!!! WTG!

This isn't about anyone else but yourself. If he is getting annoyed, respect that. Simply just don't eat whatever it is. If you really want to work out, you will find a way and if you really love your husband, you will find a way to work this out so both of you benefit and are comfortable with it.

If you are worried about what to wear at the gym...you are not going to the gym for the right reason! Who cares what others think! We all start somewhere...we are all in this together. That tiny girl in the leggings with the perfect buns could have been lost a lot of weight to get where she is. Don't worry about others.…

If you truly want to lose the weigh...this is the first step. Just tell yourself you can do this...I found its easier to eat small meals throughout the day than to try to wait til I get home. Then I want to eat everything in sight. Anyone can do this...everyone can do this but you have to really truly want to do it!

I do weights every day...one day legs, the next arms and abs every day. I change up the exercises I do for one...so I don't get bored and also to work the muscles a little different. I agree with others here. Your body may get used to the exercise and just not feel as sore. Keep it up! I think you will get to your goal.

The initiation ceremony consists of you saying this to yourself out loud at least 3 times...A DAY!!! I can do this! I can do this! I can do this!!
-
I personally do have not only cheat meals but days. As long as you are not over you calories every day...you should be ok. Mine all balance out to where at the end of the week I am still under and I am still losing weight. 13 lbs down and counting. Good luck! It is a personal decision but I have found this works best for…

Coddling our children because I do not want them humiliated? Mistreated or embarrassed? Gees...anyone who thinks its ok to do this to a child is sick. I did prepare my children for the real world without humiliating, mistreating or embarrassing them.
-
Is that all you see is the fact there was an irresponsible parent here? Because of these actions, children were not only not allowed to eat, they were embarrassed. Put yourself in the children's shoes. How would you feel? Humiliated? Embarrassed? Yes they were given milk and fruit. I am sure that went unnoticed by other…

Not only does the actions of the school make me sick but so does this response. The children have no control over the actions of their parents. They should not be punished. If the food was already distributed and then going in the trash, let the child eat...and add it to the parents bill. No child should suffer with an…

I can honestly say that since I started eating small meals throughout the day...I do not have many BLT's at all...so no I do not track them. I am not saying I DONT WANT TO...I just remind myself I am on a mission...and the blastoff date is only 6 months away!!!!
