I think the cottage cheese adds a creamyness also negates the acids in the sauce

I just googled ham hock soup calories and it gave me recipes and calories for the soups with portions. Maybe use this as a template and sub in your own ingredients. I hope this helps

I like to base my calories on the weight of my body should be able to handle when I have reached my goal weight. So my ildeal weight for a muscular built 6'3 big boned man would be around 250lbs. I use flaxseed oil. One tablespoon gives you 10 grams of fat. I add it right to my shake in the morning.
