A lot of my friends are vegans and they eat terribly. I would not say any of them eat balanced meals. Most of them eat super processed crap like soy or rice cheese, vegenaise, scambled or fried tofu, fried tempeh, etc...Check out vegweb.com and fatfreevegan.com for meal ideas, though.

Could be sodium/water retention. Dont sweat it. Its normal. It happened to me a few weeks ago (I gained 3 lbs) and then I weighed again a few days later and lost 4lbs.

If I make up my mind to splurge and not feel guilty, I still make myself log it so I can remain accountable! That way I'm indulging but still loving myself enough to be conscious of what constant calorie indulging will do to me. And yes, it will not kill you. I splurged for a week a few weeks ago and still lost 1lb.

The same thing happens to me whenever I eat anything with sugar alcohols. I stay far far away from them.

My temptation is really good cheese and wine. My favorite is Roaring 40s blue cheese and this sick tripled creamed cheese in the Whole Foods Deli. Its like butter. I would be happy having cheese for dinner every night. Its been weeks since Ive had cheese...tears...Also, margaritas. I love a good not to sweet margarita.

Just cut out sugar and processed foods and drink lots of water. Your body cleanses itself. The master cleanse is terrible. Dont do it!

This is a lifestyle change and you must remember to give yourself a lot more credit than you are. At least you are conscious of being off plan. Its more about picking yourself back up and getting right back on track and not letting a little weekend slip up derail you. You are amazing and you can do this!

1200 calories is unheard of unless you are trying not to lose weight. You have to eat to lose weight. Eat some broccoli with lemon juice and sea salt. Its yummers!

I eat all my calories and Im usually a little over. The only way I would eat under my calories is if I ate broccoli all day. Also, sometimes if says people were under calorie goal cause they exercised and mfp gave them like a trillion calories back. I never ever ever eat under 1260....i would die.
