I grill chicken breast and keep them in the refrigerator and fix veggies of all sorts. I have lunch totes that I pack on Sunday night. 5 days worth. I love chicken :). I want to loose to my goal weight by May 20th 2013. This will be my husband and my 25 year anniversary. I've got 53 lbs to go! We're going someplace special ... he won't tell me where! Also, I'll have a completely new wardrobe to show off!

agree exercise and burn some extra calories or if that isn't an option, maybe a salad filled with green stuff cucumbers. radishes, peppers etc Lemon juice as a spritzer.

I use mine to make salsa, sour kraut, slaw, shred cheese, chop onions, Get one with a large mouth! It's worth the extra money! I couldn't imagine not having one!

I'm 51 as well. You have came to the best place! MFP is totally awsome! I haven't started into menopause yet. Hopefully can put it off a while longer (hopefully) exercising and loosing 100 lbs! post doesn't say if you are over weight or not, or how old you are? Could she just be worried about you? If you are overweight maybe just sit down and talk with her and ask her for some ideas, or see if she wants to walk with you or exercise along with you. I took measurements when I first started. Pictures, I took on my cell phone shortly after I started and it died! Haven't taken any more. That was back in Feb. Should of taken more. I am planning on taking them when I loose 4 more lbs. That will be 1/2 way.

I am going to start couch to 5k tomorrow. I've never rean in my life! Or at least since middle and high school when we were made to run in gym! We'll see. I've gotten a new pair of running shoes and a new sports bra so we'll just go from there!
