Brand new here. Building up my distance again after having a stress fracture in August. Proceeding very cautiously, and I find that I can only run 2 or 3 days a week without feeling it in my shin, so I’m going to say I’m trying for 30 Miles in January. 1/2 - 2.25 miles

My husband always says to think about where you would be if you didn't keep starting over....probably in a pretty horrible place. So, maybe you aren't where you want to be, but perseverance counts for something

my goal is 1450 without excercise. I usually end up eating between 1600 and 1700 with excercise. I think people want to lose weight fast, but I've been losing consistently without feeling like I'm going hungry, which is key for me to continue.

definitely ask your doctor, but as for the people who are offended or think this "sounds weird" clearly they have never had children. someday they will feel ashamed of themselves for saying that. don't apologize, it's a legitimate question about a legitimate part of your body. but yes, i would ask your doctor.
