This used to be an option, not sure why they got rid of it.

I would log it for the next day if it's after midnight. But in the long run it doesn't matter if you log it for the same day.

I just eat everything that I want in smaller portions. Has helped a lot

I have the same problem if it's just plain oatmeal. I make mine with whole milk and top it with roasted nuts/nut butters, dried fruits, etc
