Did I not read somewhere that the ones without a chest straps are not very accurate. EDIT: I also think that you need to keep touching that sensor button to measure your pulse rate. Maybe used for a different purpose, like occasionally check your pulse rate, definitely not to measure avg pulse rate during work outs or cals…

Pure Envy! See the brighter side, you can eat all the sweets all year long and still remain skinny. Welcome to MFP, I'm sure this will help you achieve your goals.

Lot of peeps from Aus here, I'm sure you will feel at home already. :p Welcome !

Dont get discouraged, hang on and you will see results for sure. Just ensure your calorie calculations are right and the 1300 cals is the net calories (min 1200) so that you are not in starvation mode. I'm trying to get my last 2 lb off and its taking ages, lost 15 lb in about 4.5 mths.

3 miles yesterday, looks like the cold weather is a bottleneck for me this month.

Thats a common misconception to have. I know few friends here, who do the same, and maybe get offended when pointed, but what the heck, friends r to support n tell u when u r off track. Always check ur net cals, not cals consumed, more burns more intake. cheers!

lol, I would stick to beer. I think that wud be the lowest in cals.

need to try this, thanks.

Why look at solutions in substitutes, have lukewarm water, feels great to have in cold weather & keeps the calorie burning machine in you running.

Wow, so many months on this, and even I had the same misconception of more deficit = more weight loss with 1200 net calories consumed. I never thought Net cals = cals consumed - cals burned, i thought it was only what i consumed. Actually, it shows more projected weight loss when you complete your entry for the day with…
