Hmmmm that's strange, when I was 118 lbs just 5 years ago and VERY underweight being that I am 5'9, I was still insulin resistant.

Thanks for the links. I looked them over and will use my university library to look at a few more.

He is now living as a little boy, he made the decision on his own, he has seen the way I have struggled and he was becoming overweight despite the fact that we don't have those things at home, he made the choice to remove those things from his diet at school and otherwise and is happy with it. I never said I forced…

LOL, I don't think I'll be letting him do that any time soon but I do want to help him build muscle.
-
Then how do you get insulin resistance with the absence of obesity?
-
Don't even bother with them, they just want an argument.

I like the Extreme Makeover with Chris Powell, it has great stuff for people who are starting out a lot heavier and a lot more out of shape but it can get really intense as you progress through all the levels and drop all the modifications

FANTASTIC!

Wow you are doing AWESOME! Major changes going on!

I'm a 36 year old mom too. I am self employed but I am home when my kids are :) Feel free to add me!

Had mine done almost a year ago. Just laid around with the cramps for a couple of days but other than that no issues. My TOM only lasts a couple of days now too, lighter and shorter than before.

Not in London but I'm here everyday! Anyone can feel free to add me, I am a low carber (medical necessity) and also gluten free. I don't discriminate against anyone for their chosen eating plan.

Firefighters, private, ribs, and sausage fest. Sugar, smoke, rub! What kind of post is this?!

Yeah I have one I can get that is brown that comes out to 0 carb (same carb and fiber counts) and then the golden flax that I get comes out to 1 carb so they are definitely not all the same. BTW, that pizza crust I posted is good too if you use the chicken, half the amount of cheese and 1/4 cup of flax, I don't like the…

yes it is per slice, the calories are a little high but I find when you are low carbing your calories tend to be on the low side anyways
-
What kind of flax do you have?
-
I couldn't tell you. I've never used one.
-
Actually the ADA set the standard on subtracting fiber. Finer is not broken down into glucose.
-
Anywhere you can get regular protein powder usually, I order mine off of amazon.
-
because you subtract the fiber from the carb count. then after it is divided into slices there is only a fraction of a carb per slice
-
Wow you look like a whole new person! AMAZING!!!!

It's used to keep liquids from drying out. Hope you don't eat any of the other stuff either Here are some common foods that contain propylene glycol: certain mustards, food coloring, artificial flavors, certain chips, certain soy sauce brands, fried onions, certain strawberry and chocolate syrups, certain icing, canned…

This is where I am at so far I can't get a good pic of the whole room because the light shines too bright and without it you can't see a thing! LOL I also have resistance bands and this thing that hooks to the door to put them on, don't remember what it is called. I am mounting a flatscreen/dvd on the wall this weekend so…

I so want a heavy bag but I don't have room right now! This is where I am at so far I can't get a good pic of the whole room because the light shines too bright and without it you can't see a thing! LOL

I am restarting again too. I couldn't do level 2 last time because of the jumping but maybe by the time i get there this time

I just added 1/4 of a packet of crystal light to my plain yogurt and it was SOOO good and it didn't up the cals by much or the sugar at all. I had just been using it in place of sour cream and mayo.
-
That's not a problem unless you are trying to sell something.
-
I love berry pomegranate but I also like the great value flavors, the sweet tea is better to me than the actual MIO. I have a soda stream and use it to flavor carbonated water sometimes, the kids like it for a treat instead of sugared soda.

Do what works for you and don't worry about what anyone else says!

All those ingredients are lacking is some chocolate for high protein brownies! LOL there are several different recipes here, just do a search and see what matches your ingredients.
