Because I admit that I am human, I know how women are and the first thing most women are going to do is run back to her "friends" and say I saw his new girl...now do you want her to say that "she's really pretty, and had this super cute dress on" blah blah blah or "you should have seen her, shorts, t-shirt, hair in pony…

That's exactly how one should feel, we all learn and grow from relationships. They only get better, if they don't then you are doing something wrong.
-
Good grief, so you guys are harping on the stinking "upgrade" get over it. It's a WORD.

Wouldn't just be the ex, it could be mother, brother, sister, cousin, co-worker, Pastor, whoever, if he knows them and there is a chance he will be introducing me as his "girl" then yeah, I want to put my best forward. Otherwise I might walk around not giving a care what I look like. How is considering myself an upgrade…

I'll take the guys side on this one, this is a heads up, look if you run into the ex and you are introduced for some reason, YOU want to look your best. Hasn't anyone been there before? I sure have, was out running errands in a t-shirt and some jeans and ran into my guys ex at the store and she was just getting off work…

You usually have such valuable input to add, even if I don't always agree, but things like this...they make you seem like a real jerk.

I was forced to go extremely low carb because of primary carbohydrate intolerance, I was using some specialty low carb products which had whole grains as my only hold out, when I eliminated those I stopped having migraines and seizures, I remember specifically the last time because I went out for a date for Valentine's and…

Do you have a credible source?

That is an absolute load of crap! Back up your words with something proveable because the mere fact that I am alive and functioning proves your ABSOLUTELY without a doubt WRONG, and I am sure there are hundreds of other people here too that can prove that wrong. Dietary carbs are NOT essential!

Had them since I was a child, they began to trigger seizures 8 years ago. Haven't had either one since I went grain free at the first of this year, could be coincidental but it's not worth taking the risk of having either of them just for some bread or pasta so until I learn otherwise that's what did it for me.

*smacking my head* What toxic byproducts does it produce? What nutritional education did you as a nurse recieve? Does your best friend being a nutrtitionist give you the qualifications to give false nutriton information?

So then as a scientist you would say that all of use insulin resistant/diabetic/glucose intolerant/carbohydrate intolerant people have nothing left for our brains to function off of and we should just close up shop and call it quits because without carbs our brains will cease to function and we will essentially start the…

Do you have any studies to back this up? I am neither moody or irritable, happier than I have ever been and better able to deal with stress than I could have when I was 174lbs heavier, I train heavily and I am not tired, have energy enough to run circles around my teenage boys and their friends.

It says mine is 19 per day, but that's because I don't leave it at the default settings, its a beautiful thing to be an individual, I can individualize my diet to my needs and so can everyone else, you don't have to use the default settings. To op, contrary to popular opinion, not everyone needs carbs for energy, evaluate…

Depends on how kindle/computer savy you are, you can highlight, bookmark and take notes on a kindle and if you feel really adventurous you can edit the file and link things the way you want them.

I don't find it difficult to be gluten free but I don't look for "replacement" products. I make flax bread and gluten free pizza crusts but I have never bought a single gluten free products to replace something else. Not necessary.
