I didn't even notice the heel striking until i checked out the bottom of my shoes! I thought i ran on my toes. This is just on one heel the other shoe is intact on the inside. I will go back and see what they say. Maybe my running style has changed?

I did a half marathon training plan a few months ago which said to run 5 days a week. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. Some weeks i would skip the Thursday one and others i would skip the Saturday as i knew i had the big runs on Sunday and needed that extra rest day. Best thing is to listen to your body,…

Oh i can't wait till i can move freely again. I've got a 30km bike ride to do and then 10km run tomorrow so i hope they loosen me out a bit.. I've taken pictures today cause i forgot yesterday.. I really want to tone not sure if this will do that but i'm enjoying the challenge.

Forerunner 410. Yep GPS is on. Maybe because it was cloudy or a satellites thing? No trees just a residential area. Yesterday i started it up and just ran around the house and the map showed up so it's strange. Edited to say - I have checked the privacy off button so you should be able to see thanks

Thanks guys! I did the one they had on the marathon website. It was time based (like 30 min easy run) Next day would be 45min easy kinda thing and i ran 4-5 days a week.

I'm doing my first half in just over 2 weeks (first ever race!) thinking i should have picked 10k or something for my first ah well. You can add me too :)

I started running in Feb this year and have my first half next month. 5 Months seems like plenty to me just follow a training program and remember to warm up and stretch afterwards to avoid injuries :)

The miles thing really confuses me. We go by KM's here, i tried converting but it doesn't help. Is there a KM one?

Bumping.. I think there's a load of mothers that need this motivating thread. The belly is the worst.. I'm nearly at my goal weight and still feel as big as before because of mine :(
