  • I'm happy for you! I just hit the same milestone about a week ago. I can actually jog an entire mile on the road without stopping! It takes me about 12 minutes, but I will continue to improve and so will you, I'm sure! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • Lolo had a good weekend. She got to see her BFFs on Friday night and then all her... I guess siblings? My parents dogs, on Sunday. She was also sad though because she has to say goodbye to Maggie, my mom's Great Dane. She is 9 years old and it's her time to go to doggie heaven   How's Sammy and Lexie???
  • Yes! I ended up in the ER after my gall bladder removal surgery because they failed to mention that the pain killers would cause consitpation. I thought I had a freaking hernia and could hardly breath and went to the ER. 8.5 hours and $150 later I found out I was full of crap! No joke though because if it gets too…
  • OMG Brenda! That is AWEFUL! I am like, sick thinking about that happening to you, or anyone! How crazy! I hope she gets caught and punished. Omg... You seem to be taking it well. I would be freaking out!
  • Feel free :flowerforyou: Ignore yesterday, though!
  • Lois has been enjoying yummy yummy dinners lately. Instead of throwing out the yolk when I use only the white of an egg, I plop the yolk on her food and mix it around. She likes it quite a bit and it should make her coat nice and shiny! Do any other doggies get egg yolk on their dinners? Lois misses you all and…
  • Yes, followed also by the LEEP procedure. Neither were bad at all and I am a huge wuss.
  • Lolo's only in her cage when we aren't home. She's my snugglebunnie at night!
  • Lolo will be so happy for her nice, new, big room! It's 3 times the size of the one she has now. I'm going to sanitize it (bought it off craig's list) and get her pillow and blankies in it for her!
  • Hello doggies and doggie's mommies! It's a dark, gloomy, rainy Monday here which means no walk for Lolo today. Which really stinks because her daddy is not home today so she will be cooped up allllll day :frown: I can't wait to get her room set up so she doesn't have to be in her crate during the day. Tell your…
  • I have been making these all the time since you posted this!! I calculated the nutritional info and added it to the database. It is based on the recipe using EAS 100% Whey Protein, No Sugar Added Applesauce, 2 Packets Splenda, and the other ingredients. Search "Microwaveable Protein Cupcakes" if you have been eating…
  • I have the Cheshire Cat on my right hip and "I Hope You Dance" on my foot!   The Cheshire Cat!

  • I'm doing P90X - The workouts are 1 - 1.5 hours long. Their nutrition plan says that I should eat 1800 calories per day so I just have it set at 1200 and enter 600 in exercise calories each day to eat 1800. My HRM typically indicates around that amount for each workout.
  • You can look at mine! Just click on my picture and it will take you to my profile. Click View Diary and there it is! Good luck!
  • Just get plenty of rest, good healthy food, and lots of water. How's the weather where you are? Could you get out for a walk for some fresh air? Feel better!
  • Welcome! I love your screen name! This site is awesome! I would suggest checking out the message boards. There are threads there that have little thumb tacks or sticky notes next to them that you should read first. Here's a link to one that I think links to all the others!…
  • I love you more every day  This was my FAVORITE THING growing up. Is it an Ohio thing? Plain shredded wheat dipped in vanilla yogurt tastes like a waffle cone!
  • That's great - just keep at it! It took me a long time to get to the point I am now where I CRAVE a good workout.
  • This is wonderful - I am so happy for the both of you!! Thanks for posting, Jeannie!
  • I know how you feel here! I hate to spend $10 on a toy that she will chew up in 5 minutes. Plus, I don't want her swallowing the rubber or whatever the toy is made of. Lois's toys are tennis balls, raw hide bones, and her favorite is a basketball. I stop by Goodwill sometimes and find some stuffed animals that I can take…
  • So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always so hard. :flowerforyou:

  • I just love you guys!!!!
  • I'll check it out when I get home from work... I don't want to be  at my desk.
  • Sounds good and pretty easy to make! I think I will just pick up some beans after work, soak them overnight and make the soup with beans, celery, onions, diced tomatoes, water, bay leaves, garlic, etc... Thanks for the tips!

  • Snow has been crazy this year. We actually broke a 100 year old record in Central Ohio. It's supposed to be in the upper 40's this weekend and I am SOOO Excited. Hopefully some of this snow melts and Lois can play in her backyard soon!
  • :blushing:
  • Is this true? I have been thinking that my heart rate runs so high during exercise because I am still not in great shape and that as I continued to get in shape I could sustain lower heart rates during the same activities I am doing now. Basically, the more I got into shape the less calories I would burn during exercise...…
