Everyone will post different methods that they use...all have the same things in common, burning of calories through some sort of cardio/training routine. Never been one to get into fads, I keep mine simple. Do cardio to shrink the fat off your body (everyone has abs), do 5 sets of 25 crunches daily. Got my sixpack that…

I've been on maintenance for 3 months and have dropped close to five pounds. Still exercising and merely cut my cals by 100 under maintenance. As long as you don't go back to old habits and continue your calorie counting you'll do great

we all have abs...you may have extra fat or skin or your mid section. Increase your cardio but stil maintain your ab regime of choice. Personally I do five sets of 25 crunches in varying positions daily, with 50 leg lifts. Do slow and focused crunches, not speedy

My suggestion is both, now you can choose your session time and number of days a week. I'm typically at the gym for 5-6 days per week, 1 hour tops. 10-15 min of elliptical or cross training, then on to a workout with weights. Now circuit training as mentioned above should be used in the context of a gym and cross training,…

weight loss really isn't gender specific. I choose this site to monitor my calories while working out to ensure proper intake, working great here

coming off the net or an article with step by step would constitute a fad diet, no different then a 300 workout, south beach, etc....simple solution. Use this site and pick your goal, hit the gym or find a way to exercise as much as possible (daily if possible). You'll drop weight at a healthy weight, without damage to…

been workin on the elbow for a few weeks, getting it back to form....just hoping to get back to lifting full again....very anti-brace when it comes to this stuff...so far so good...ice and heat are working wonders

i've worked my abs for a while, utilzing whatever I can find, 5 sets of 25 crunches daily, with controlled motion and proper core focus....worked very well ;)

Been suffering for about a year, aggrevated by weight lifting. Has anyone actually had a similar experience and gotten back to full weight form?

I still don't understand why people jump into fad diets and exercise plans.....losing weight/gaining better health is easy...watch your foods and exercise, thats all. If you can't hit the gym we all have ways to get active, if we put as much time into our workouts and diet as we do making up excuses for the lack of effort,…

very interesting as many sites advise guys to drop to a 1200 calorie per day quota to lose 2lbs per week....always knew that was wrong as I lost 2 continuously with exercise and 1500 per day

those post was started on a half truth. Yes a pound is a pound, but with muscle more dense it takes less mass of muscle to reach a pound then fat. This makes the biggest deal when a person is getting near their weight loss goal and no long notices changes on the scale (as their body is starting to replace fat with muscle).

Easier one then these 'kits', eat healthy, get exercise. Nutrition stores make a killing off such products. Just stay balanced in meals and exercise!

Everyone has abs, chances are they are buried below our body fat. No crunches will not burn fat off your stomach but they are exercise that do increase muscle size and help to burn calories!

Toronto here as well. Its true the database can use some work, but I make up for it. When I grocery shop, I add the foods in I eat and share for the rest. If I eat out somewhere or can't get the nutritional info, I google search or think of a place that makes a similar product.

Well from an interesting source, I live by arnold's encyclopedia, very informative. The man had killer abs and no more then 5 sets of 25 reps daily. I do such and its worked great. Only change I've made is I alternate posture to hit different ab areas. Remember we all have abs, but all hidden under a layer of fat or skin!

just simply my opinion, i started at the gym two years ago. I hit cardio exercises pretty good for a year to lose my weight and now read up over many sites on various routines to use. Simply my opinion, always felt like trainers where like chiros, they create a need and place for themselves and want you to remain with…

ellipticals are a great way to lose weight, but at the expense of not truely increasing your fitness level. You will notice some increase, but not the same way you would via treadmill, stairs or such. Again they helped me lose weight, now I got off of the elliptical to increase my overall fitness.

They are good to log occasionally but should not be considered a replacement for true fitness. If thats all you can do in a day truely, then great. If not hit the workout!

depends on the impact a bad weight might have you on. Over my spread of dropping weight I took into consideration sodium impact, time of day, and other variants in reasons why my weight would appear heavier. I weighed close to daily to get a range of where I was, never paid attention to the exact number, only did when…

I hit the gym after work 5-6 times per week. Does sound like a lot, but its a stop on the way home, 1/2 -45 min work out does the trick.

I hit 35 pounds in 3 1/2 months. Hard work, hit the gym if possible, makes eating easier.
