Aside from the paper route in my early teens, I got a job as a part-time short order cook, around mid-teens. Worked at an arena in winter and ball diamond during summer. I prefer the morning workout as well (Mon-Fri, weekends off). I get up a 0630 and I have always done my workout on an empty stomach. Currently, I do weights Mon-Wed-Fri consisting of a whole body workout and Tues-Thurs is a 35 min elliptical program.

My morning workout - Mon-Wed-Fri are whole body weight training (chest, back, legs) for 60 mins and Tues-Thurs is aerobic workout (elliptical) for 35 mins. As a rule I do not eat before. My usual meal after is a light one consisting of a chewy Kashi bar, a banana & coffee.

The elliptical is my go-to cardio machine but with the program I normally run, I could not get to my BW in 13 mins. I'm at 142 lbs now and I usualy aveage 8.5 cals per minute so in 13 mins... um... 4, carry the 2... 104 cals at the 13 min mark.

Hi Meg, I have been using MFP for 410 days now and it helped me got from 93 kg to 64 kg (205 - 141 lbs) and have been maintaining for about 5 mos now. Follow the program, log everything and, believe me, it works. Cheers.

It was close... but it says if EVERY day were like to day (or words to that effect)... you'd weigh... While my days can be similar sometimes, rarely are they exactly alike. However, thoughout the entire 243 days it took me to get to my goal weight i was ALWAYS less at any point than I was five weeks previously.
