Alright, I had high blood pressure last time I was at the doctor (49 lbs. ago) and he told me to watch my sodium! The nutritionist asked me to try to keep it around 2000 mg. per day. Pretty hard sometimes, but it keeps me looking for no salt added, or low sodium lines of prepared or canned items. I'm looking forward to…

Wonderful job! I'm coming close to 100 lbs. lost myself and am always getting back on the horse. Great post and keep up the awesome work!

I started at 405 lbs. back in April and am now at 318 lbs. I still have a long way to go, but I'm always feeling better and able to do things I couldn't do then. Keep it up and feel free to add me as a friend!

I've been using Maranatha - All Natural No Stir Almond Butter - Creamy. It's about 190 cals for 2 Tbsp. To me it tastes just like peanut butter and provides that protein and good fat. I like it before or after a workout on a bagel thin. I didn't care for reduced fat peanut butter, so this is a good alternative. I switched…

I totally get that way! I do double duty on Tues. and Thurs. with an hour in the morning and cardio at night. I am usually famished on these days. I've thought maybe I could zig zag my calories and allow a bit more on the days when I'm doing more. I wonder if more protein before/after your workouts might help? Good post!

No arguments about going back! I'll be there tonight to knock out some cardio. I know I was being a bit sensitive about it. I'm glad I decided against falling on the floor and throwing a tantrum. I wanted to post and see some of the funny stuff you guys had to say, and also to get that kick in the pants to "Get over it!".

Try Amy's Kitchen Light in Sodium, they have chili and soups. They are about 390 mg. for 1 cup, vs. 790 per a 1/2 cup serving of other soups. I found it at Whole Foods, Vons, Albertson's, and some health food stores too. I have to keep my sodium under 2000 mg. per day, so these at least let me have a larger serving.

Hi there! I'm always looking for "food" inspiration, as I also get into ruts. My diary is open to view, so feel free to add me as a friend! I'm on here everyday, and will be an active cheering squad. :flowerforyou:

I had to find a sugar free version of the thin mints because I missed my girl scout cookies. I used to buy my own cookies when I was a kid and ate them!

Last night my speaker wires got caught in the elliptical machine causing my ipod to wing off into the aise behind me, nearing catching an elderly man in the stomach. My husband nearly fell off the treadmill he was laughing so hard.

Almond milk and a Splenda!

Wow you are very impressive!

5'11 here, and definitely take pride in being an "Amazon Woman". My husband is a shorty! I have a lot to lose yet, and love cheering on others here. Please feel free to add me :drinker:

Oh! That sounds like a good show! Mine would be chocolate anything!

I'm proud that I'm almost ready for the next jean size down. They're almost falling off, and I remember when they were the tight jeans!

Nice!

Hmm, I can't view your diary. Sorry!

I've had to break up my lunch into 2 parts so as not to feel hungry through the day. I take an avocado, add some low sodium salsa (Newman's Black Bean and Corn, or Safeway Organics Mild Salsa- 2 TBS) and a cup of brown rice. I also love some tuna with Mrs. Dash garlic and herb (no salt there! my best friend is Mrs. Dash)…

I like the enthusiam in your topic. It's all about staying motivated and getting through those not so motivated times. I think the more friends the better. It's like having a cheering squad on the sidelines. Great to see you on here!

Hi Caitlin, Feel free to send me a request. I'm also looking for more friends to come along for the ride. I leave my diary open and definitely will be a cheering squad. I'm about 5'11 and my starting weight was 405. I'm down to 324 but have a long way to go as well. I am glad to see you on MFP, and congratulations on your…

I usually end up doing that two days a week. I go in the morning for strength training before work, then back for cardio at night. With the work schedule it sometimes pans out that way.

bump, I want to look this over.

It's hard having my husband's favorite foods in the house, oreos, burritos, mini-cheeseburgers. I can't control what he does though. We make one dinner, and he just gets more of it, and I have to keep my mitts off his cookies.

There are no words to describe how annoying she is. I think everyone wants to smack her soundly across the back of the head, hoping her brains might shift into a more pleasant personality. She's so dramatic, sighing, rolling the eyes. Yuck! And yet I love to hate her, so what does that say about me? Have a good night all!

Hi Betsi, Thank you for the friend add. I've got a lot of weight to lose, and am checking in regularly with a nutritionist because I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this. What they said really shocked me. At first I was between 1300-1500 calories and excercising a lot. It was working, then I hit a month long plateau.…

What a fun post! I like 1 and 4, they both have a v-neck which lengthens the torso and makes you look lean. Dress 1 defines your waist, and Dress 4 has the A-line skirt that balances out your top half. Have a blast!
