This. Yes, I forgot about my title, and it was not a serious thought. I thought the rest of the post would have made that clearer, but I guess it was missed.

Jw- that is uncalled for. I never once said I was embarrassed. Grow up. Thank you to those who either understood or tried to. And we're helpful/supportive.

Well believe me when I say I hate that I feel this way sometimes. I wish it were a thought that was really easy to erase, but it's a struggle sometimes. If I saw someone say this upset them sometimes I would probably say weight doesn't matter, that's not what relationships are about. This isn't about our relationship. It's…

Ya, he likes how I look but is supportive of losing weight (can't say I'm not in shape, still really active). He knows I get down about how I look. To the guy who said show him this and he'll dump me. He knows I feel this way sometimes. And I know its something I need to get over. But it's a mental hiccup I get sometimes,…

Ok. I think gymnasts just have a thing with their arms. I fell like there's leftover muscle and that makes them faster or something lol

ran 2.8 miles in 30 minutes today =)

Finally feeling better :). I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and weight training. I wanted to run but I thought the elliptical might be a better choice today. I wish I could run 5.5 miles

Sorry for being MIA, I'm getting over a bad cold. And glad the foot is good! I use the treadmill. I feel like it helps me keep a constant speed and I can use it to push me, but I feel I run better outside.

can you send me a link for the 5x5 program or explain it? And that makes sense about where guys/girls naturally have more muscle, that makes sense

No apologies needed =) I just have no idea what half that stuff is lol

What kind of a question is that? I'm not sure how to answer it but I'll do my best. I was a gymnast, I miss it, I want to be able to get some skills back (I still have some). I want to be able to do parkcour with my boyfriend for fun. He's auditioning for ninja warrior, and I think its fun and I need some more strength. I…

1. To be able to do the things I love again (I started playing around doing gymnastics at work). 2. To be smaller than my boyfriend. 3. To be able to take care of myself (to be self sufficient, physically strong, and for when I age). 4. Honestly I had some emotional trauma growing up and have some low self esteem because…

I coach gymnastics, Preschool-Elite, we just moved up our first elite from level 10 at our gym =). I also work at a local YMCA for some extra cash.

Glad someone else is dealing with being uneven, I'm working my arms a lot, doubling the reps I do for legs. I do 50 (2x25) reps for my legs, and 100 (sets of 10-25 because the strength just isn't there yet) for my arms. I'm trying to get a muscle up too, I can do it with a 40 pound assist (which isn't good, but I'm working…

I'm a girl and I'm new to weight machines for the most part, I don't use free weights yet. For a girl who's new to machines, I call it beastly.

I would eat what you want but a few things. Don't surplus it, just go to maintain (I think the feeling of backsliding will be less if you know you didn't eat to gain, but to stay the same). Or on cheat days make it one meal. I eat whatever I want, but count calories. So it feels like every day is a cheat day, but no day…

Still ran 5 miles before kicking *kitten* :)

Yesterday was my rest day, I couldn't lift my arms :) working out tonight after work :)

Is it possible you miscalculated your calories when you were 1000 short? Like maybe you were snacking, or drinking soda. If you are short that many calories its possible to slow down your metabolism down, but after you've lost weight and have grown accustomed to not eating enough, but you won't gain weight, just stop…

Good to know about calories in that post being wrong. I've been eating like 1200 to 1500, doing cardio and weight training almost daily (only for a week and a half). I was thinking that was my problem after that post.

She wasn't anorexic until the pills. My thought is more that the pills enabled her. Other people talked about heart issues too. Your body gives you signs (pain, hunger) I don't think its something you should ignore (not a fan of pain killers either unless the cause is known). I think it's a temporary fix, and people should…

I don't use herbalife. But I know people who do and it works for them. Its not a diet pill and it gives you what you need. I think it's ok if that's something you want to do. Its a product i know about and researched. I doubt you know much about it from what you said. And did I say I was an expert on diet pills? No. I…

Okay, to answer why I'm so conscious of my arms... I was a competitive optional gymnast until I broke my back when I was 18. So I was very lean but muscular in high school because you need the muscle. The abs and legs were great but I was stronger than all my high school boyfriends. I felt like they were big, now there's a…

The only diet supplement I approve of is herbalife. my friend used diet pills, idk which ones. She lost over 50 pounds in less than 6 months. Of course, she also now has a pacemaker. Diet pills kill your appetite, but you need those carbs, when you don't have those carbs your body eats away muscle... Like your heart. They…

To clearify I am the girl :P. And thank you for the reply's so far, I finally got my before pic up :)

A few things... The thing with beer is that it will dehydrate you. And it sounds like you're dehydrated already. When you're dehydrated your body will hold on to all the water you give it. I don't care if you don't like water, find a way that you can drink it. Its no different than other healthy changes in your diet. I…

Welcome to the site :)

Definitely post topics :) it keeps people updating when I don't have time to make a post. I ran a little over 2 miles yesterday and did half an hour on the elliptical. Monday I did gymnastics so I didn't run. I'm a little under the weather so well see about today. Also I've really upped my strength training.

Awesome job at the 5k!!! I dislocated my knee in high school, unfortunately it sometimes flares up from time to time. I've also dislocated my shoulder, and my jaw, broken countless bones including my back... I'm sort of dreading working out in the cold winter months, but looking forward to the snow!!

Oops, this was supposed to be for the third lol. I felt sick yesterday so I didn't run.
