  • I have an entire closet of cookbooks. The younger me used to collect them with the hopes to create a desire and want to cook. I cook less now.
  • This would be great but it has potatoe. I found out today that shredded cheese has potato.
  • Allergic to turkey.... I can’t cook, but I did contact some local bakeries to see if we can get a standing order of something that is allergy proof that will fill the need for my sweet tooth. A banana is fruit and I do sometimes have one for breakfast but it is not a dessert. I want cake, cookies and those yummies. I never…
  • Spent 20 minutes in the grocery store today looking for anything baked goods/ sweet without eggs, nuts, palm oil or coconut. Nothing... any suggestions? Saw the allergist on Monday. He said don’t eat potatoes, strawberries, eggs, nuts including almonds and peanuts, turkey and fish. I ate lettuce with carrots and chickpeas…
  • Ugh I think I might die of starvation... I know me and we are not good with food work. It is interesting that you say pain. I have been aching for the last 3-4 years. Like 80 year old pain... I can’t have peanuts either. I hate tofu.
  • I eat ham for Christmas dinner. I am just not a big fan. It’s not a meat I get excited for. Surprisingly, a local Chinese restaurant made my lunch to accommodate my allergies. That worked well. Pizza is being delivered to the pool tonight. I had mango yogurt for breakfast.
  • And that is the issue. I just don’t like all veggies... and I am picky on top of the allergies. Pasta is made with eggs. I feel like I am being forced to become vegan... I live in the middle of farm country. Vegan is not our way of life.
  • Pasta generally has egg. Curry has coconut... I really dislike salads all the time. I can shovel the lettuce down if mixed with stuff like egg, bacon, chicken salad.. this has really put a huge damper on my eating. I am very much a burger, fries, any potato type of person. I ate eggs every day until Monday.
  • I am not allergic to pork, I don’t like pork chops. I do eat bacon, with no issues. I have been formally diagnosed by an allergist. I will check Daily Harvest out. Thank you
  • I eat out most of the time so it is something I have to work out. Even work, we all order lunch daily.
  • The new allergies are confirmed by an allergist. I go back for additional testing next month. So far with cutting out eggs and potatoes, no new hives have shown up. I will try this.
  • I eat ground beef, like burgers. I don’t eat any of those other meats. I have never been a meat eater. As of right now, I can eat crab and shrimp. I eat them often.
  • I am ok with bacon. Most bagged salads with toppings, have egg or one of the other allergens. I looked at the grocery store for 20 minutes this morning to find a salad. If they didn’t have egg, it was nuts or turkey. I don’t cook and mostly on the go, so eating on the go is necessary. I am away from house for 12-15 hours…
  • I have an allergic reaction of tingly, swollen tongue, throat closing and hives. The hives are no joke. I can live with the tingly tongue... but the reactions are getting worse with age.
  • 2% milk
  • Is that the copper one? I can’t have it because of the heavy bleeding. We are treating anemia as well. I am not anemic when I don’t get heavy periods. At this point I would cut it all out but he seems to feel like that is an issue with me being only 40 with hormones and stuff.
  • My previous eating disorder and ocpd make me ridiculously accurate at logging. I don’t drink soda, use fake sweeteners or eat much meat. With the exception of alcohol and coffee with milk and sugar, I only drink water and unsweetened tea. I don’t chew gum. I log candy. I eat the same meals over and over. Generally I have a…
  • I eat the same as I always have and gained the weight. You can see on my progress chart the steady climb. I showed my doctor. He did agree that it does appear to be a steady 50 lb gain every time I get an iud and a 50 lb decrease when it expires. He tested my hormones and said it was all normal so he does not see how the…
  • I feel confident in my logging. I am logging exactly the way I did 4 years ago when I lost 50 lbs. I have never been a big eater. I have always ordered kids meals, or eaten a small portion of a meal and thrown the rest out. I think 1200 is too much for me. Which is ridiculous in itself because no one should be limited to…
  • I have been hovering at this weight 168-171 since January 28th. I was 163 December 26th.
  • I am ok with weighing food. Four years ago I dropped down to 128 when my iud was expired. I started gaining when I got a new one. I did do a lot of 800 -1000 calorie days though.
  • 5’3” and 170.
  • I gain 50 lbs within two years every time I get an IUD. The doctor can see that I am correct. We have tested my hormones and nothing weird shows up. I am on my last one now. I am giving up sex after this one needs to be removed. tired of being fat when I can not use birth control and rapidly drop weight.
  • I have a whole closet I outgrew in the last 2 years. Going on vacation in a few weeks and need to buy a whole new wardrobe... that sucks
  • Weight comes off very slowly on a 1200 calorie diet. I like eating now, so I can’t go below 1200. But as a teenager I could eat a cheeseburger every couple days and never got really skinny. I was a normal 100-120 lbs. I think my body just does not use as many calories to function.
  • The beers were logged...
