Definitely get fitted. While you are there, try on a pair of K-Swiss tubes. SO comfortable!

Honestly, I haven't thought of quitting either. I am loving the changes I am seeing in my body and I get excited to try the next level of dvds. Having a set schedule definitely helps. In the past when I have started then stopped a workout program, it was because I had no set schedule. Once I'd miss a workout, I would…

What is with that move in Workout 10 in which you bend at the waist with one leg up and touch the floor with your dumbbell and hold there? I have no balance with that move. It was funny to see everyone in the video struggle with it (except Anita who did it without the weight-- she is awesome!).

I am on Mirena. I love it. I rarely get a period (when I do it lasts a day and I have no cramps) and I have not had any trouble losing weight.. A friend of mine has the copper IUD and she says that her periods are heavier and more painful. But I think everyone is different.

I got the one that is exactly like the one in the videos. I haven't had any problems with it.

Pippin the cat and Sophie the dog (a border collie mix). They are best buddies :)

I'm going to rotate through all the BR dvds again, except I'll just do one week instead of two for each set of dvds (i.e., workouts 1 & 2 in week 1, wo 3 and 4 in week 2, etc.). I may substitute some days with Jillian's other dvds like KB&T.

If you choose to do the jumpstart, it replaces week 1. Welcome to the BR club =)

Only the first workout out of the three uses weights. I have substituted cardio 2 with workouts 2 and 3 from fastfix. It is so much fun!

Love this thread! Some of my NSVs: 1. My biceps, quads, and calf muscles are huge! My butt is also hard as a rock when I flex. 2. Enjoying shopping in my own closet, too! 3. I can do regular push-ups now! 4. My "back boobs" have gone from a B or C-cup to nearly nonexistent (they may be AAs now).

You look great! Well done!

I agree with the above posters. The EatSmart is a great scale!

Great job! I'm suprised you only lost 10 inches. It looks like SO much more from your pictures-- especially your waist and hips! Keep it up!

Welcome to the program! I'm half way through week 8. I've lost 17 pounds and around 24 inches. Feel free to add me for some extra support! It's always nice to have MFP friends going through the same thing :)

I think losing 4-5 pounds per week like she says is unrealistic and likely unhealthy. Losing 1/2 to 2 pounds per week on this program is a bit more realistic and definitely more healthy. I lost 4 pounds my first week, but that was probably a lot of water weight. For the first month, I lost 2 pounds a week. In month 2 I…

I just googled it. It is a push-up that starts it down dog, then moves into chaturanga and cobra then repeat. That is the easiest way for me to describe it =/

I wouldn't do it on a rest day-- you really need rest! Last week I did workouts 2 and 3 instead of cardio 2. I've also been adding a workout from this dvd after I do a body rev workout for some extra calorie burn! I highly recommend it!

Not a lot of jumping, but a lot of kicking!

I'm on week 8. I've lost 16 pounds and 24 inches. holy cow! I didn't realize I've lost that many inches! I swear this program has saved my life (literally).

I have a Timex Zone Trainer. The calorie burn feature is WAY off, but it seems to give an accurate heart rate reading and average heart rate during my workout (which is all I really need).

You guys like burpees!? Crazy!
-
I had just finished killer buns and thighs when I started the program. I used heavier weights and did the harder modifications during phase 1. I saw amazing results in my first month even though I worked out before. I would stick with it, get heavier weights (when you can), and do all of the harder modifications. You can…

Would you rather weigh 10 pounds less and be the same size as you are now OR weigh the same and be down a jean size? That's what I try and think about when I don't see big changes on my scale. Stick with it!

I got an EatSmart digital scale. It had really good reviews on amazon ($28). If I weigh myself several times in a row, it always says the same thing. I also put two 8 pound weights on it and it was accurate.

Take measurements! I see bigger changes in inches than in pounds.

I could barely do cardio 2 at first. I had to take breaks in between circuits. But now that I am in week 8 it is actually pretty easy. The cardio intervals are 30 sec each instead of 1 min each. I think that makes it much more tolerable. But each circuit ends in burpees!! I am excited to do cardio 3 next week! I think I…

Lost 15 pounds so far. I went from a 36/38DD to a 36D. I don't mind. But my husband now calls them "little handfuls." Thanks, hun.

That is so cute!

OR wear two bras! Seriously!
