  • Thanks for the feedback. I just need a ballpark to start with. 1350 calories to eat, but then I do some activity and burn 300 calories. It says I can eat more, but it seems like I shouldn't so my body will start shedding the pounds? I know that I have to keep the calories low because one I'm not consistently active enough…
  • I was on it. Initially it helped me some, but not really. I think it made things worse. I gained back weight and more. I wish I never did it, but I guess I had to try it to understand. Be very cautious and I suggest eating 1200 calories at least.
  • I just started it. I spent the last year losing 15 pounds the hard way. I messed up and stopped watching what I eat and exercising regularly due to stress and depression. I gained it all back in 3 months. It's so heartbreaking and depressing. I went to the doctor and she put me on Phentermine and Prozac. I will get back in…
  • I have been struggling for awhile and have been up and down in my weight loss. I finally went down and I'm about to go on a week vacation to Legoland, Disneyland, and San Diego. I'm worried about it. I usually do pick the right choices when eating out, but probably tend to eat too much or snack in between on the wrong…
  • My kids are picky too. They are 5 and 9. We don't have peanut allergies so I don't have to avoid things like that, but sometimes I deconstruct dinner. If I'm having pasta with a sauce and veggies I know they won't eat, then I dish out that pasta first so their stuff is plain with light butter and parmesan cheese. Same with…
  • I'm interested in any helpful comments because I'm the same. I can be pretty good all week and then the weekend hits and it's parties, eating out, snacking at home (eek!), just extra food that I don't normally eat. But it messed up my weight loss efforts from the good week. It's a never ending cycle. My guess is I just…
  • This is exactly what sabatoges my efforts. Its a struggle, its willpower, its making the right choices. Indulge a little if you can manage that. Watch the portions. For me if I overindulge one day it can stretch into more days causing a weight gain. So I really have to be careful that it's only a little bit over and put a…
  • Interesting. I dont think I have "total blow" out days but I have had some where I did go over my calories by alot. It was not necessarily bad food choices just too much and probably more high in fat and carbs. It does ruin my weight loss efforts. I keep trying but it is discouraging that I ruin whatever work I just did.…
